My husband, one year old son and myself stayed in a standard one bedroom for four nights. We took a taxi to the property, but even with the taxi's gps, it was a bit difficult to find. It's on the main street (Cheongdam-dong)and beneath it is a 7-eleven,which has a lit up sign and easier to see than the humanstarville sign. The evening reception staff were a bit reserved. The day staff were very friendly. The one bedroom was very nice. Furnished with a modern touch and very clean. The kitchen and living room are one room. The kitchen has a four burner gas stove, dish washer, oven, rice cooker, microwave, tea kettle,washer/dryer, etc. The fridge was quite large for a hotel and adequate freezer. The tv is a probably a 46" plasma flat screen with surround sound. Nice touch! There were a few english channels and one Japanese channel, NHK i think. You can open a large sliding window with screen in either the living room or bedroom, but it's not a balcony. The hotel has desktop computers with broadband in the bedrooms. Another nice touch! Modern bathroom. Shower combo bath tub. Bath tub has jacuzzi jets. Shower has three different positions, overhead, handheld or shower jets. Another nice touch! One thing that really impressed me about this place was the attention to detail. In those hotel books, where they list all the hotel info that they leave in the room for you. They put directions on how to use all the major appliances in the apartment as the buttons on the appliances were all in Korean. The directions for the washer/dryer were a bit tricky, but with the help of the reception staff it was easy to use and was quite fast. Powder for the washing machine is free, you have to call the reception for it. There is a 7-eleven and a Chinese restaurant in the B1 level. On the reception floor, there is a small Italian restaurant/cafe. Cheongdam is a nice area, but really outside the sightseeing zone. If you are a tourist, i would recommend staying closer to the city hall subway stop. But if you want to save cash, have more space, then this place is great. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway station, Cheongdam and from there it's around 20-40 minutes to be at the palaces, city hall area. You have to change lines a few times. In Cheongdam, there are ritzy shops. For instance, there are two Louis Vuitton shops around the corner, Galleria mall (lots of branded goods) 5 minute walk, COEX is about a 5 -10 minute taxi ride, Lotte World is also quite close. We had a room on the 14th floor and it was very quiet. Restaurants are located in the back streets not on the main street. But there is a Tom N Tom or something like that coffee cafe a few minutes walk.

Cons: you can take the lift from b1 (by 7 eleven, chinese restaurant, car park) to your floor. There is no security here and when you come to your room, it may be covered with various Korean take out/delivery menus. The place seemed very safe and we had no issues. There is no safe in room. They give you a large paper envelope to store your belongings. They charge for their baby cots/cribs. We brought our travel cot, so it wasn't an issue for us and there is space in the bedroom for a baby cot. Also, when you enter the room and into the bathroom they have these tiny mini steps. You have to really look out for them as they are easy to trip over.

I came here the first time because my friends are living nearby. Gangnam, Cheongdam are the more upscale part of Seoul. This is where the rich people live and you can find a lot of good bars, clubs, and cafes. Not very touristy. The room is clean and spacious, at around 68sqm, and it was very reasonably priced to. I paid around USD100 per night.

I came here the 2nd time and price has gone up to USD160 per night. Only drawback is some of the facilities are dated, in particularly in seem quite common you will find the light bulbs have gone out, water pressure is low and no hot water. It was okay as it's summer time but it is just not ideal for what I'm paying. So I'm moving to a new boutique hotel nearby, called Tea Tree, will write another review then.

Bottom line: would visit again if the price is ~$100 but not $150.

Dated furnishings, wallpaper, etc. nice shower. Poor service. Great location. Good value. If I could do it over again, I probably would have opted for the Hotel Riviera nearby. Better yet, I'll try to find a nice condo nearby using airbnb.

This is a really good serviced apartment in the heart of Seoul's coolest district which is Cheong-dam. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere in the area, and conveniently located on Cheong-dam junction. Rooms are nice, clean, and well serviced. My favourite in the area.

I stayed at this place with friends. Two bed rooms with specious kitchen&dinning room+living room. Facilities were OK, well......rather NICE.
But the staff at the reception desk were very very very BAD!!
I don't know if it was racism or just their natures but anyway, when we checked in, they didn't even check the PC but simply said"your names are not on the list. We are fully booked.you must be booking different residence."
we showed them confirmation letter but still didn't check PC.
It took them about 30 minutes to check the PC and found out our names were on reservation data! they didn't even say sorry or anythiing but threw the key at us!

when we checked out, maybe accidentaly but they put extra ZERO on our bill........
didn't even say sorry.......
Well, first of all, it's not a Hotel, just like an apartment.
concierge....receptionist....whatever they were, they need to learn how to greet the guests.
At least, the guest pay and stay there, so!

I have stayed at this residence since it first opened in 2006. My first stay was a very extended one (6 months on a corporate stay) and it was top-class. The furnishings were state of the are and everything has been spot on clean. However, I have come back (sometimes because there were no other alternatives at this price level). on and off with a few years in-between each stay. It has gotten worse and worse. The furnishings/furniture/floors have been through very TOUGH wear and tear - the floors are not clean and the furniture is beat up. Every time I come back it is worse. So after 6 years, I guess finding cockroaches in the kitchen, burn marks in the sofa, barely working computer, and smelly bed should not be out of the question. I only stayed here because EVERYTHING else within KRW 50,000 per day price range was booked in Gangnam, and I would only come back if THERE WAS NO OTHER CHOICE.

The service was not good. Went in knowing that there was no room-service but did not realize they did not provide any amenities (shampoo, toothbrush, razor, etc.). Hotel was not cheap and was further nickel-and-dimed for basic needs. For example, I needed to leave a 20$ deposit to borrow an extremely bulky 20 pound power converter, and had to pay for all of my local calls. They only had wired-internet and had no internet cords longer than 0.5m. Very disappointed and will certainly never stay there again.

Well, I have to give you my reasonable opinion that I hope you to help you not to have a wrong decision.I care about the cleanliness a lot and this apartment is not as good as other serviced apartments where are near coex.

They clean twice per week and the quality would have been great if they clean well and maintain well in general.
I don't think this is cheap apartment but they don't clean professionally..
If you don't care about the cleanliness, then it's nice to stay. you can order food and they can deliver to your room, which is not possible to do at other hotel style serviced apartments.

Room is big enough to have family. but if you have baby under 3 years old, this is not the right place to come, because it's DIRTY if your cleanliness lever is high..
The insolation is not good that you can hear the car's noisy from outside.
At the kitchen, it looks ok, but when you touch washing machine or dish washer, drawers...etc which are pretty sticky that it seems they don't clean well in general, I don't want it perfect, but at least it should be the same level of the hotel how much you pay. This is the face of Gangnam and it should not be like this..
Location is OK, you have to walk 15minutes from the station Or just take a taxi.
To Coex, it costs around 3000Won.
There is no swimming pool, but there is small gym at the basement.

Let's be clear guys, it's not a hotel - this is suite residences with 4-star hotel services You got suite with completly furnished kitchen, bedroom, living room etc.
Upon your request there are room cleaning service and bunch of delivery options. BIG advantage is location - Apgujeong next door, all top night hot spots are right away on the block. Neighborhood is kinda lavish place with lots of top rated facilities, brand stores, fashion authorities and of course cars .... you can get even dozen of Enzo Ferraris by night or Lambos....or Porsches or else. Korean Beverly Hills like locals named it. True as it is.
