Old hotel centrally located to the hot spots. Within 5 to 10 minutes of Itaewon. Places to eat around there and Starbucks down the street. The bed was like a rock. Front desk spoke some english but when I asked for an iron they gave me a blank look and eventually said no. It's not bad for a few days...

I have stayed at this hotel from time to time over the last 15 years when traveling to Korea. It has always been a reliable choice when I needed an inexpensive room for one or two nights near Itaewon. The rooms are clean and functional, but a bit dated. The room rates are competitively priced with other hotels of the same...

This hotel is old, but the rooms were clean and the service was good. The resturant was a little high priced and not at all accomidating. We ordered fruit and juice at 14.00 each then decided the buffet would have been better, just asked for some more fruit and they charged for a full buffet at 22.00. Charged 5.00 per...

Korea is a modern civilized country; things are generally clean and functional, even when old. Such is the case with the Hotel Capital, that must have seen glory days in the 60s as it is placed between the US military base (nearby section no longer used by US), and several embassies, just down the hill from the most westernized shopping...

There is nothing redeeming about this hotel, unless perhaps you are some kind of history freak who wants to know what life was like in the 1970s. Two tiny bottles of water for a family of four, when I went to ask where the drinking water was, I was told I had to wait tomorrow until the bottles would be...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in a twin rooms with my friends. Room was in average condition, needed to be partially improved. Overall was OK. Breakfast was good. Free Wifi in lobby. The best thing was that 7-11 shop is located at the opposite of the hotel, very few steps. In addition, the hotel is located in a...

Been Stationed in Korea for two years and have been to many Korean hotels that cost far less than the $175.00 I paid for the substandard Hotel Capitol. Sign was turned off so finding the place while driving at night was very difficult. Room was 15X15 foot and did not have even a cushioned chair to relax in. There was...

My family and I check-in thru tour group. The 1st room had leaking ceiling and stained bathtub. The 2nd room looked renovated except that the floor had patches of white plastal. Both rooms were dimly lit and did not have the temperature regulated heater. The heater only has 3 modes; low, medium and high. It was quite stuffy even when...
