A friend of ours booked this small apartment for us as we were in South Korea for his wedding and it was close to the wedding venue. We stayed for 6 nights in September 2014. Although it is not really very central or convenient for sight seeing in Seoul, it was easy enough to get into the city via their...

I actually stayed in October of 2014, but this only goes back 'til March 2015. It was my second time going to Korea, my boyfriend then, now husband, booked it and actually stayed with me for the two weeks I was there. I looked for what I wanted as a necessity for the two weeks, a washing machine/dryer all in...

Most important for me: The bed was very good, in fact, really comfortable. In terms of value this hotel is about the best I ever stayed in. The room was clean, well serviced, and compared to the cost, it was a FANTASTIC deal. The included breakfast was really excellent. In downtown Seoul, same breakfast may cost $10-$15. And we had...

Big apartment with kitchen , comfortable beds. Breakfast is OK but as everywhere in Asia , missing some sweets. During 4 nights, we asked for the cleaning of the room bit it has been performed only once. Staff is gentle. Location is very convenient next to the subway. Gym is not included. But it is very cheap.

We stayed in the Inn the City for four days. Our experience was very positive. Location: Gangnam district, South of the Han River, Subway Station Nonhyon, Exit 2. Coming out of the Subway Station (going up the stairs), take an immediate left into a smaller street/alley. At the end of this street (you will cross one larger intersection and the...

It was my first stay other than hotels in Seoul like this place. I stayed in a family room with my family, 3 adults. I booked 60 days in advance so I got 40% off plus additional web site promotion of 10%. Regular price was not very attractive but with the total discount, it was one of the best price...

Ease to find:  Not the easiest place to find. It is a few streets back from the main strip. We took a taxi and gave him the address to put into the navigation system.  Check-in process:  Check in was simple and quick. Room size and comfort:  There was plenty of space in the open room area. Closet space was great....

Nearest Subway's Nonhyeon (Exit 2). Inn the City's is very decent. Everything's electronic, lights, door lock, tele, toilet. Air conditioner and Heater is in-built. Family room is really spacious and clean, value for money. Quiet surrounding,(: Enjoyed my stay here. Everything's a stone throw away, incredibly convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful too,(:

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighbourhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
