That's the short version: They had closed the pool without ANY notice anywhere. They MAKE you come on the 1st floor to get ice. They say they have sauna access, but you need to pay extra and they don't let you charge it to the room. Also you can't take the elevator directly to get there, you need to get down to the lobby and have to cross their huge hall basically wearing your bathrobe, and their hall is next to an open, busy area, with clubs and bars. 최악의 호텔. 손님을 믹대하고 보함 된 서비스가 없고 어디서도 통지가 없고 서비스 쓰레기. Long version: We went there the week prior and, while the website still advertised that the outdoor pool was 20 bucks for people who don't have a room, no information on it tells you that you now need to have a room to get access to the pool, or you can't go at all. In the lobby there isn't any information about this, in the elevator either, you need to get to the 5th floor, and there only, you finally have an A4 sheet where they say it in English. The only place I saw it, even when I looked after. That was frustrating, but I pet it go, and since it was raining all week my friend and I reserved a room on the only sunny day, because it felt perfect for pool. Mind you it was a week after, 3rd of September, so I was like. What if they close the pool after August? So I looked everywhere and there was nothing that said this was closing, their pamphlet said it was from May to September. Which is bull. Because why write September at all if they (told me when I asked) had always planned on closing on on August 28th (write it somewhere maybe instead of scamming people? Because this is what this hotel is, a scam) We were on the 8th floor and there were a lot of random tourists who just stayed in front of the elevator for like 15 minutes. We waited and since they just stayed in the area, and don't even go up when the elevator was theirs, we decided to take the stairs.... That brought us to a dirty bar area not connected to the building at all. This was unbelievable. Going back down we ask the front desk people where the emergency stairs are and they are like, oh we don't have those...... You mean you have a while building that come emergency, can't evacuate? Then she stuttered and added, we do have one, but you can't use it. The people were still there. And I realized they just didn't know how to use the card to make the elevators work. And the employees just let them there. The whole time. No one went to help them. How can you be so racist, and unhelpful to people when you work in a HOTEL!? The people ended up figuring it out and leaving. We decided that we'd make it a good day anyways, and had great food and drinks on the terrasse of a restaurant nearby. Came back and wanted to use the sauna they had advertized as available. Well it is in the basement 1, and the elevator goes to B 2 and 3 but not 1, so, mad, in my bathrobe, I cross the dirty hall, and ask the employees, and they ask me I quote, "you want to go to the parking?". I am in a bathrobe. I want to go to your spa! Then they dismissively show me a corner at the left side of the counter where there are stairs going down. We get there and they ask us to pay which I am surprised? Isn't that part of the hotel? Take the pool away, ok. But make us pay again? We jut decided to go anyways, and since we didn't have cash, the spa lady, who was the only nice person I met there, asked us if we'd like it charged to our room. But when she called the desk they refused. All in all terrible experience. They give you an ice bucket but you need to go to the first floor (our room was on 8th) to the desk to get ice. Attitude was terrible service was terrible. Don't go there.

Itaewon Subway station is right outside so it's a great location for exploring Seoul. We had a larger room facing the street, which can be noisy. We had to open the window because the room was so hot. Turning the room heater off didn't seem to make any difference. Breakfast is quite good and I would stay here again when visiting Seoul.

I stayed in this hotel for almost all my Seoul visits. It’s always a pleasure coming back here. The room is in excellent shape, comfy bed, spacious, very clean and quiet. Quiet even though that it is in the middle of Itaewon. The staff is also always very friendly and helpful! Thank you again! And don’t miss a visit at the sauna. It’s a very relaxing experience and it’s also a place to get a nice conversation among men.
