This hotel location was awesome for my business trip. It was about 1 min to the office in the morning, no taxi, no waiting! Perfect location for our trip, and the rooms, breakfast and the restaurant was just fine.

Overlooking the Han River, Seoul Riviera Hotel features free internet and fitness centers. Seoul Riviera Hotel is an 8-minute drive from Coex Convention Center. However the rooms are small and do not reflect the grandeur of a luxury hotel. The hotel is well located, the staff is friendly though housekeeping facilities are not satisfactory. On asking for complimentary water bottles...

The hotel is very welcoming, in a very convenient location for business. It is only one bus drive from the airport, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel, so going back to the airport is also very easy. The room was very nice and clean, just right for sleeping in. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff...

Good location, however, there are some notable let downs from this establishment. You can pick up that there is cash flow issue with this place. 1) Expensive breakfast is $75+ USD per person. 2) Extortionate prices for food, $35 USD for a sandwich? 3) The hotel doesn't provide the basics room essentials and tries to sell the products as a...

We stayed in November during a cold snap. Location is good, not great. It seems to be within a business district, so not near a lot of the flashy shopping and dining that Gangnam is known for. Still, it is about a short 2 block walk to the Cheongdam subway station. Nearby are a few convenience stores (CV, CS 24)...

Staying in Apgujeong / Cheongdam

Neighbourhood Profile
Apgujeong / Cheongdam
Aside from Sinsa / Garosugil, no other area in Seoul connotes the words “luxury” and “fancy” like Apgujeong and Cheongdam. Global luxury brands have set up their flagship stores here, catering to the neighbourhood's mostly affluent residents. It’s also one of the top areas in Korea (some say the world) for cosmetic surgery, attracting hundreds of thousands each year for a little nip or tuck. The other parts of Apgujeong and Cheongdam are mostly lavish residential buildings for some of Seoul’s most affluent alongside extravagant restaurants, bars, spas, and other spots for indulgence. And Cheongdam has long been a bastion for flashy clubs and parties, though in recent years, Itaewon has emerged as a strong challenger to those claims.
