I booked a room in Seoul for a night's stay as I was heading overseas with a transit at Incheon. It was my first time in Seoul and I didn't know the area well so I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to Myeongdong and I found this hotel. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Myeongdong so I walked there and back, but the hotel has a shuttle bus so it's convenient on rainy days. There is a WOWPASS machine in the lobby which is convenient for exchanging money, charging and withdrawing cash (I didn't really need it myself). There were so many guests that I wondered if they were Japanese? They were all young tourists in their 20s in particular. There were washing machines, dryers and a gym on the 8th floor. Washing and drying costs 30,000 won each.

We had a comfortable stay. Clean and decent size of room had everything you need including refrigerator with bottle of water. Nespresso coffee machine and drip coffee and tea. There was a machine sanitize clothes or get rid of wrinkles. TV had some English channels but hard to use because instruction was in korean. I really liked each floor has separate door so only room card holder can access to it. There are microwave free water and ice on each floor. Myeongdong is walking distance but their shuttle service is very helpful especially during cold winter. It only runs few hours every 30min though. Breakfast is $17 if you pay there. It was good for few days. There are 3 metro stations less than 5 min. If you're coming from Airport use Chungmuro metro station. Airport shuttle drops you off there too. You will see Kentucky fried chicken use this road to get to hotel. Road is a little bit dark but very safe and will pass local restaurants. We used airport shuttle very early in the morning from this station and it was very smooth. (Bus doesn't stick to schedule so be there earlier) Their house keeping staff were the best. Hotel check out is late so that gives very short time for them to clean your room. Our room was not cleaned yet late afternoon but they did everything they could for us to have comfortable stay. It is not in the middle of shopping area but location is very convenient and very peaceful.

I was nervous on my first trip to Korea, but it was a very beautiful hotel and the employees were very good at Japanese so I was able to spend it without inconvenience.
There was a laundromat on the 8th floor, and you could buy detergent on the spot. If you need a softener, you need to prepare it yourself.

Trip with my 18 year old daughter. We stayed in both the standard twin and deluxe twin. Standard twin room was a little dated. Deluxe twin came with a LG clothes steamer, shared microwave on the floor, and free soda/cider. The AC system was also quieter in the Deluxe twin room. The area is older and a bit commercial/industrial, but really conveniently located to multiple subway lines.

We stayed at the hotel for a total of 6 nights and I did not find anything to complaint.
The rooms were very clean & tidy and spacious enough to keep all our luggage plus have some space to walk around.
The everyday room cleaning was good. No complaints around the room being kept unclean or untidy.
We did not have breakfast or dinner on any of the days of our stay at the hotel, so cannot comment on the food.
The reception staff were also very polite and helpful.
There is a currency exchange machine kept right at the hotel reception so you can always use it if you don’t have enough Korean won and you are leaving in a hurry.
The rate was decent not too bad.
The location is slightly far from the main Myeongdong shopping area so you have to take the train or walk for like 20/25 mins.
The hotel does have a shuttle service for drop off and pickup from a few spots in Myeongdong.
There are a few seven eleven and CU stores just 2 mins away from the hotel.

Hotel, very clean, bed very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant food are very nice specially the spaghetti. buffet breakfast have a lot of varieties and delicious.highly recommended. But Not walking distances to myeongdong shopping area. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The attitude of the young staff at the front desk is okay. The other two older uncles are very unfriendly, but they are different towards tourists from other countries. We booked a smoking room with a terrace, but when we checked in, we were told that we cannot smoke on the terrace (it will be completely non-smoking starting from January 2024). If we smoke on the terrace multiple times, we will be fined. The attitude is very bad. But when I made the reservation, I contacted the hotel directly to ask if smoking could be done on the terrace in rooms with a balcony. Their reply was yes. I felt like I had been deceived by the hotel. The hotel told me that I made the reservation at the end of 2023 and smoking was still allowed at that time.
