Glad I stayed at the much hyped, The Ananti at Gangnam with its unusual monastery-themed design concept creates a calming atmosphere through the use of materials like red bricks, chandeliers and wood for my Seoul trip.

The rooms which are more spacious than most hotel suites, are all duplex and come with a private terrace overlooking the cityscape, and is reminiscent of a sailing yacht floating leisurely on the vast sea.

The indoor and outdoor pool decorated with crystal chandeliers and arched red bricks are now famous Insta-worthy spots I heard.

Indeed and by far, they are the most beautiful swimming pools especially the indoor one I have seen.

Not to mention the spacious and eclectic gym which I hope I spend more time.

Truly memorable as I always favour design hotels with character.

Very new and refreshing hotel!
This is a very stylish hiteland the rooms with 2-floor (we stayed at cabin S) are amazing.
They provide a service to drop you off to places you need to go for free.
Amazing experience. Thank you for making these hotels.

Came here with husband and kids, the room is so big, but the AC only reaches 23 degrees Celsius for a room that size. Also the most surprising thing is that there is no television, but since I went there for sightseeing there was no problem. Apart from this, I have problems with the lifts because they only provide two lifts and the lifts are very slow. So I waited 10-20 minutes to get in (happened in check out hours). And this is wasting my time

We arrived 2 hour before the check in time, they asked for an extra fee to move into the room even though it was ready. We didn't pay. When we checked in (they didn't even ask to help us with the luggage) we found out that the room (design is good) is extremely noisy as it facing the road and everything costs Extra, including the pool. It's definitely not a 5 star experience and not worth it. Not recommend.

The condition of the room was very good. The double-decker room was very beautiful. The front desk staff were kind. The outdoor swimming pool felt like an open-air bath. The cart service within 3km was very convenient. Beckett had a very delicious brunch. I couldn't use the sauna for this stay. So I will definitely use it if I have a chance.

Hardware was piece of art.
It's a wonderful feeling to be in such a place in middle of Gangnam.
Choice of books, furniture, design, architect can't explain all but the hardware was great. Lot's of nice pictures you will take here.

What bothered was the service.

Staffs are polite but not nice. They seemed very educated but sorry I didn't felt the hospitality that I usually get from hotel of this room rate. I've seen scenes where one staff working so seriously while other are gigling around. Few times. Also seen the not so fine behaviors to guests with bad english accent.

It's just that, you don't feel good encountering those scenes.
Even if it's not you, you still feel bad and feel disrespected.

But again, hardware were excellent. Great choice of books as well. Could be a very sexy place to hangaround with best friends and lovers. 24hr wine shop is just 5minutes away from this hotel, clubs and bars are not far away.

No intention to be sarcastic but there is no Korea in here, nor Korean hospitality.

Exceptional experience. This was our final destination while traveling across South Korea and we wanted to stay in Gangnam. Location is great and we had lot of activities to do just within the walking distance. We took the studio rooms which was simply stunning. For me, the best highlight was gym and services. Absolutely recommend!

Pros
- Rooms are large and beautifully designed
- Pool is pretty

Cons
- value for money is off - this is just a pretty 3 star hotel at best
- no customer service or hospitality, generally just unhelpful staff, loads of stupid and inconvenient rules
- AC in the room only let us set it down to 24 c but it never cooled down past 26 c which can be dangerous for infants to sleep in. We had to call down to have them manually/remotely adjust the temperature. This is super annoying and also means they can do it but choose not to let customers do so from their room
- bath water for the large tub didn’t get hot
- pool has weird “sessions” to limit access, you have to check in, give name and room number AND wear wrist bands. No one at check in mentioned we had to wear wrist bands to the pool that they’d put in our room but they still made us lug our baby and swim stuff upstairs to get them vs just letting us in after checking our name and room number. Then when we got in the attendant asked me to put my hair up (no issue) but then lurked and stared at me until I did it. I’ve literally never been watched so closely at a hotel pool in my life. They create such a policed unfun space that we just left.
- they don’t even have a changing or locker room for the pool
- sauna costs extra but doesn’t say that clearly when booking
- no room service after 8pm
- no tv in the room (normally don’t care but family stayed for a week and it would have been nice)
- light socket in the shower had toilet paper or tissue stuffed in it vs being fixed… why????

It’s just a weird vibe and aside from the pretty pool nothing about it feels luxurious. There are way too many nice hotels in Seoul to pick this one.

For a luxury hotel, the service surely is lacking and was very disappointed even though the rooms are beautiful. The last night I was there, I realized that my headphones were missing. I let the front desk know and they couldn’t care less. I wasn’t expecting a refund of any kind even though the headphones were around $300 but their attitude was unprofessional and quite shocking. My complaint was completely dismissed and ignored and it’s problematic that an employee at this hotel is stealing. This hotel really needs to work on their customer service if they want to live up to their name.
