Excellent hotel in Seoul. Great location and very nice "boutique hotel" in the heart of Seoul. The staff is very helpful and very nice. I staid in this hotel only one night but really felt very god. I arrived very tired after a full working day + fight from Paris and enjoyed my room, great Caudalie products in the bathroom...

A fabulous boutique hotel smack in one of the most vibrant, hippest quarters of Seoul. Only a block's walk from Garuso-gil, you couldn't ask for a better location. Besides being surrounded by a gazillion cafes, restaurants and stores, you'll also enjoy the 10-minute walk to Hang Gang Park which stretches along the Han River. Check-in was fast – waited only...

Stayed here for 5 nights in March on a business trip. Small-ish boutique hotels are hard to find in Seoul, so we were interested in trying this out as an alternative to the huge high rise hotels elsewhere. Hotel is very cute, rooms are small but very well laid out and functional. Everything was clean and worked well. The room...

The Hotel La Casa in Seoul is the definition of a hidden gem. I first heard about it from the TV program, Unique Hotels and Restaurants, and remember thinking that it looked incredibly chic. So when my friend recommended this hotel for my recent visit to Seoul because it happens to be super close to where she lives, I (uncharacteristically)...

This is a good value hotel with great location. Walking distance to both Shinsa and Apgujeong stations, and right in the heart of "Garosugil" area in Seoul... very trendy location. We could walk almost everywhere, and take the subway when needed. Property is nice, with a very cute/boutique interior. Rooms are of good size, and very comfortable design. Service level...

Nice location near garosugil where you can find fancy restaurants and cafes. Hotel also has clean and new rooms as well as a decent complimentary breakfast and that's where the positives end in my opinion. The whole area around the hotel is basically without shelter so rainy days is a big issue. Even walking to the hotel cafe requires an...

Great rooms, high ceiling. We booked a suite and it has a very nice living area adjacent to the king sized bed. Hotel staff were very helpful as well. Location-wise it is just right off the main road, quite easy to find. Would stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Oct 2013. While the location is really good, 5-10mins walk to garosugil street, sinsa train station and KAL airport bus stop, the hotel feels more like a showflat. The service staff are cold and snobbish. The design of the room and bathroom looks pretty but are not practicable. There's also no aircon in...

Third time in Seoul and third time lucky to find an excellent hotel in a great part of town. Easy to get to from the airport in the airport bus without spending a fortune on a taxi. Staff are very friendly and most speak pretty good English or at least enough to point you in the right direction. Rooms are...

I stayed in Seoul for business and I found quite enjoyable the stay at this boutique hotel. Small rooms but very cozy as the entire hotel itself. Breakfast is a little poor for western standards (no eggs, no espresso) but with plenty of option (rice, potatoes, even beers) if you have Asian style petit dejeneur. Staff at the reception are...

Staying in Sinsa / Garosugil

Neighbourhood Profile
Sinsa / Garosugil
Trendy, chic, fashionable – these are just some of the words that sum up Sinsa and the neighbourhood of Garosugil within it. In particular, Garosugil has emerged recently to be one of Seoul’s most popular neighbourhoods; from the latest haute cuisine to what’s next in haute fashion, the restaurants, boutiques, and shops here tend to spark trends quickly spreading nationwide. It’s a magnet for celebrities, fashion industry titans, and Seoul’s elite and elite-aspiring, although some claim soaring real estate prices have led to a decrease in Garosugil’s independent charm. Still, it continues to remain one of the hottest and hippest areas in Seoul, so it’s best when visiting to make sure you’re dressed and looking the part.
