We like to compliment Ms Claire Yang (Front Office Manager) and Ms Jasmine (Front Desk) and Ms Joy (Concierge Service) for great services during our stay. Despite an unforeseen event, the staffs had helped us sort out the issue to ensure our continuous stay to be pleasant and uninterrupted. We are impressed by the attentive service displayed in Ms Claire Yang’s professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of situation quickly which exceeded our expectation. We will be back again to stay in Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower - the Best Hotel In Seoul! Thank you very much. Shyna Chow and Cynthia

Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

We had a room on the 32nd floor with a view of the mountains and tall buildings. Pros are great water pressure (even from the rain shower head), quiet room (never heard a peep from neighboring rooms & didn't hear much traffic noise), A/C worked when needed, helpful & friendly staff, clean room (appreciated coffee machine with various teas/caffeinated and decaf coffee available, kettle to boil water, glasswares, empty fridge request was honored (family member needed light snacks/milk available to take with meds). The only thing I would suggest to Lotte Hotel is to consider charging a pro-rated price if requesting an early check in for those who arrive a bit early such as 7 AM. An early check in was offered to us but at the cost of a full night's stay (tad bit excessive). Also for those who are curious about voltage in the rooms. At the desk area, there is 220V and 110V outlets. In the bathroom there was 220V and 110V outlets.

The underground walkway entrance closes at 8 pm and even hotel guest cannot access through underground. So it took us much longer time to go back to hotel after dinner walking in heavy rain. It's actually closer going to Myeondong from Westin hotel while we are paying much more at lotte executive. The staff, especially concierge, was not helpful at all. we had to ask for help from the people at the main tower. Quests at Lotte Executive have to use the same fitness and breakfast facilities as the main tower. The pool was limited to 2 lanes for hotel guests from main n executive towers while half of the pool was reserved for club members and there was only one person using and there were more than 10 hotel guests squeezed on 2 lanes . There were four staff at the pool but they were just chatting and laughing and they did not bother to offer help with towels or clean up old towels laying around. The Lotte Executive deluxe rooms where we stayed were dirty on the carpet and the bath towels had visable stains and yellow marks. For a 5 star hotel as Lotte executive and the amount we paid, the whole experience was totally unsatisfactory. We stayed at Lotte main tower 10 years ago and it was a good stay then. But this time we found the hotel facilities are dated ( although they claim they have refurbished) and dirty. With this sad experience we had just earlier this month, we would not choose a Lotte property and will not recommend it.

Amazing hotel! Staff are so nice! Concierge was very helpful in booking meals and spa experiences! I would definitely recommend lounge access bc the food is amazing! Also the location is perfect for walking! You do not even have to leave the hotel to enter the big LOTTE Mart and “food avenue”! Can’t rave enough about this place!

I stayed here for 7 nights traveling solo. The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing. You can walk to many attractions within 15 minutes and the hotel is situated by two subway lines for exploring beyond the city center. Food and service in Lê Salon were impeccable; the staff is well trained and seasoned. The beds are uber-comfy and rooms spacious and well appointed. My only disappointment was there is not ONE stick of furniture in the lobby for guests to sit down. Not ONE! Kind of inhospitable for such an otherwise great property. I waited 30 minutes for a friend to pick me up, and I had to stand near the front entrance the entire time.

I cannot recommend this hotel. A long list of minor grievances added up to an unremarkable stay. Check-in and check-out procedures were too long and complicated. The elevators chimed to announce their arrival - yet often never actually arrived. The maids always slam the room doors. The A/C settings adjust (turn off) automatically overnight. The automated toilet seat makes loud noises as if it's a fax or copy machine(?). There is a full-size window between the bedroom and the bathroom (??). Our room safe only functioned intermittently. The evening "happy hour" at LeSalon was extremely disappointing. The hotel's taxi stand was confusing and haphazard. Overall, a litany of annoyances and unpleasantries made us conclude that there just has to be a better hotel somewhere else in Seoul.

Great location, but you need to pay for toothpaste and toothbrush:-)) same for sauna access. And very few people speak intelligible English. In short, you pay a premium for an historic building but expect no to all you requests. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. And too expensive for a museum. Told all our clients to avoid it and book much better alternatives around.

Had my eyes on this hotel since a few months ago when I was planning for my trip to Seoul. Love it cos of its accessibility (in Myeongdong!)! So I started writing in to them early & their correspondence was pretty fast. The hotel’s really beautiful & I had the Premium Twin room. I felt that it was of a great size & I got a room at the higher floors, just like how I had requested. Staff were always ready with a smile & they spoke English. The only downside was the make-up room was not done even when I returned to my room after lunch one day at 2 pm. So I had to call in to kinda complain a little. I also had to remind them that I want turn-down service daily. Having been to other hotels, I felt that their turn-down service could have been better.
