I am grateful that the staff responded very kindly when I checked in. It is very convenient as it is directly connected to the subway station and has good accessibility. The clean rooms are also very nice~^^ There are hotels that have a bad smell when you open the room door, but the Ibis Style Hotel had a refreshing smell that made me feel good. It rained a lot today, but the passage connecting to Yongsan Station was well built, so I didn't get caught in the rain. It feels so good. The bedding feels cushioned and cozy, so I'll have a good night's sleep tonight. The view from the room is on the 25th floor, and you can see Namsan Mountain. This hotel is part of a large complex containing other hotels from the Accor group and a casino plus eateries. The hotel is a very good compromise if you're looking for a place from which to take some day trips from Seoul.
The hotel lobby is physically directly connected to the Yongsan train station (i.e. KTX), via an indoor covered walkway.
To get to that walkway, walk to the Novotel side and go to the 2nd floor. You'll see Food Exchange there. When you get to that restaurant, turn around 180 degrees and walk yo the other end of that short hallway. Turn right, walk down that small hallway, and you'll see the walkway to the train station.
To get to the nearby convenience store, just walk out the revolving main door, up the small hill, and turn left. You'll see the convenience store on the left.
The basic bedroom is a very good fit for a solo traveler. As others have mentioned, the basic room is a bit small for two people and also the bathroom area offers basically no privacy.
My travel companion and I were happy that there was basically no noise from the trains to disturb us. We were on the 10th floor and we barely heard anything all weekend. The soundproofing from the outside is excellent.
I was, however, a bit disappointed in how the staff handled my credit card during check-out. They seem to type a lot of extraneous stuff while holding your card. It is very unnecessary when they have already swiped your card.
Also, do be aware that their downstairs bakery is closed some mornings until 10am. But if you need an early-morning pastry or croissant, just go to the Novotel 1st floor bar next to the elevators, they have some baked goods there.
Overall, if you are a staycationer for just 1-2 nights around Yongsan, or you are interested in shopping for electronics or appliances, or you are a tourist looking to have a convenient accommodation with easy access to the KTX train, or you are looking for an economical option at a hotel with a casino, this is a very good hotel for you.

First time in Korea so I didnt know what to expect, however this hotel set the bar very high for me. The bed was enormous. I was on lvl 29 so the view was amazing. Hotel is very clean and 3 min walk from the railway station. The lobby area is co-located with 2 other hotels. On the ground floor near one of the bars is a cabinet/shelf that sells salads, meals, sandwiches, yoghurts, they are very good quality, healthy and moderately priced, I ate from here several times. Only downside was that the rooms toilet and shower walls dont go all the way to the ceiling so anyone sharing a room with partner etc (fortunately I was solo) would have to listen to them on the toilet.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the hotel is a short walk from the station. The signage is not very good and you need to take the lift or escalator to the ground floor and enter through the revolving doors. Ibis is colocated with some other hotels and is furthest away from the revolving doors.
Design is bright and playful. It felt very new and the lobby was huge.
Room was good sized, might have benefited from somewhere to put the bags instead of having them on the floor.
We had opted for the breakfast and it was ok buffet style with a bit of variation of dishes between the mornings. The breakfast close at 10 every morning and then the staff asks you to leave. I tried to stay to plan my day and finish my coffee but that wasn’t appreciated.
The area is not bad, If you go back through the station, you have the ipark mall and also a nice area with restaurants.

This hotel is great value for money compared to its facilities. I think it far exceeds my expectations for the price I pay. Since it is the same building as the two hotels next to it, the benefits for auxiliary facilities should be considered almost the same, except for the fitness center and swimming pool that belong to each hotel. Room elements that try to break away from the classics are arranged appropriately so you don't feel burdened. Above all, the staff's manners and service are excellent, and in my case, I think Oh Seong-hyun's friendly service at check-in helped me start my stay even more pleasantly.

The hotel is clean in generally. The lobby is nice which is shared with other hotel. Room was ok. Breakfast was average. The location was really big advantage as the hotel is connected to Yongsan train station, also there is bus stop for airport bus which is just 5-7 minutes walking from the hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially the concierge.

As a young family of 3, staff of ibis Styles Ambassador made us feel like at home for our 10 day stay. They were pleasant, warm and attentive to our needs. Special thanks to their desk staff Carmen Yeo and Amy Song, who always greeted our son with a smile and made him feel welcome.
24/7 convenience store on level 2 is a life saver for grabbing last minute essential or late night snacks.

Hi, So what kind of transport you wanna use ?
-Public transport MRT or Bus not easy to use, not like in Singapore, moreover Korean not speak Eng well.
-So i recommend you chose the Taxi for easier.
( do not take black colour Taxi because expensive).
