Great stay and delicious food, healthy, tasty and fresh - perfect breakfast. Did not like the lounge area, I thought it was too dark. But the patio outside was great to have a late drink! Loved the old-fashion and vintage style of the rooms!
It was a pleasure to stay here. Service was very good, food was excellent. I would like to recommend this hotel also for it geolocation. The stuf was very polite and discreet. Also, it has a real fireplace.
Very good hotel in many sense! Good location, very good staff, excellent room facilities, excellent lighting, very good internet connection, excellent bathroom facilities, good breakfast and lunch service
Unexpected and unique in its design and character, Rooms has a welcoming atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff, spacious guest rooms, comfortable beds, 'green' in its bed and bath supply and cleaning, sensible toiletries (mine included condoms) and a breakfast offering that's broad in variety with attentive staff. There are markets (some open 24 hours), restaurants and bars nearby and within walking distance. Rooms is a fun surprise in Tbilisi. I'd return and recommend it.
I don't understand all the glowing reviews this hotel has gotten. First of all, it is really expensive, especially for Tbilisi. For $115 per night, before VAT, it should be impeccable. But it is a sham. 1. Don't know what magic camera they took the room photos with, but the rooms were dark and dingy. Peeling wallpaper, tv screen positioned so you can't even see it, grungy floors. I guess people are so caught up with the hipster-ness of the hotel that they don't care? I really don't know, bc the rooms were NOT nice. 2. I stayed for four nights and barely had a good nights rest on any of the nights. The heating system was so screwed up - blowing hot air and and off - and when I asked to adjust the heat system they said they would rather have the engineer do it. And when they adjusted it it was never correct. 3. Constant noise - either from cleaning staff ringing doorbells in my hallway saying "house cleaning" (this was constant - day and night) to the sound of the people in the upstairs rooms stomping around. They've clearly not soundproofed any of the hotel or taken these noise issues into consideration. 4. A majority of the staff were arrogant and lazy. You had to get up and ask them to bring you coffee during breakfast even though they are just standing around talking to colleagues or posing around. They are supposed to be serving coffee all morning. 5. The vibe was ICKY. And this comes from someone who is from New York and has stayed at plenty of "hip" hotels. The "hipness" they are creating here is dark and nasty. I went down to the lounge area to meet a work colleague and the vibe of the hotel guests sitting around with their laptops was toxic. Is this the crowd who comes to Tbilisi? I don't know, but for the city's sake, I hope not! 6. Over-priced airport taxi service, around $30, and it's not like they are picking you up in a Mercedes. I couldn't wait to get out of this hotel, and I am annoyed that I wasted over $500 on the experience. The only positive thing I can say is that the mattress was good.…
