Reno Hotel is at the best and rejuvenating location near the Inya Lake, which is just five minutes’ walk from the hotel. It is perfect for guests who love to engage in physical activities such as brisk walking and feel the cool breeze from the lake. It is also a short distance from Shwe Dagon Pagoda, which is the oldest historical pagoda and the most wonderful place in Myanmar. It is also close to Kabar Aye Pagoda which is one of the most significant pagodas in Myanmar too. Reno Hotel is also near key establishments such as banks, airline offices, shops and markets. During your leisure time, you can shop at the prominent Bogyoke Market, which is known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets. Our goal is not only to provide pleasant and comfortable experiences but also to ensure memorable ones. At Reno, this is life at its best.

This is a new hotel in its soft opening phase. It's clean and bright with a friendly staff. Breakfast is a basic buffet, other meals are satisfactory. As always there are some issues with a new property. Internet needs attention.

The newly opened Reno Hotel is one of the better options in otherwise overpriced Yangon. The rooms are new, clean and have decent internet connection. The buffet breakfast is also good with much more choices than similar Yangon hotels of this price range. The location is great with many restaurants and bakeries in nearby Pearl Condo (walking distance), but the hotel itself also serves food, if you don't feel like going out anymore after a long day.

I stayed for a week at Reno Hotel. It's a cozy little place with a quiet feel to it and I enjoyed my stay there. The main benefit is that it's very close to Myanmar Plaza and Inya Lake. That said, it isn't the most exciting part of Yangon, particularly if you are a tourist.

Pros:
-Close to shops and restaurants at Myanmar Plaza
-Affordable
-Great service staff

Cons
-Breakfast is just okay
-Rooms are a bit on the small side (or at least mine was)
-Could use a bit of refurbishing

Good standard hotel. We did have a triple room which was quite cramped where they’d squeezed the extra bed in. Breakfast and dinner very good quality and price. Even had international wines at a very good price. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Don’t expect 5 star luxury but a good, standard quality hotel.

Clean rooms and great service. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive. Loved the soups. Quite good coffee too. We had to leave early and a breakfast box was prepared for us and take away cups for coffee very appreciated. Only had one electricity shut down and back up kicked in straight away. Good place to stay with close proximity to lake.

Friendly smiling welcome, prompt service in a leafy part of this quiet city by Asian standards. Our room in the 5th floor had a wonderful view of the city with many golden Pagodas. We had arranged for a guided tour beforehand with the tour operator Myanmar Delight so everything moved smoothly. The city does not have a public transport service to write about making prior arrangements essential.
