Good service from all staff.

Can improve on the breakfast choices.

The location is near to airport and away from the city jams.

The mini fridge can stock some compliment beers

Since Myanmar is still plague by electric outage, do be aware and be prepared.

Here we are staying at Kh Hotel Yangon. The place is in the town, its around 8km from the Yangon International airport (the new airport). Not sure is it at the centre or not. But the hotel is nice. The room is comfy. The breakfast is standard with fried noodle, sausage and bacon. The thing i like is that the restaurant is at the top floor so we get the view of the whole city of myanmar. Here i manage to get some shots with the traffic. Overall the hotel was good.

I travelled to Yangoon for business and I choose KH Hotel because it is located very close to where I would work. The hotel is located close to a big central road and within walking distance to Inya lake. The hotel is not very big, maybe some 70 rooms or so. With car it takes about 20 minutes to downtown and cost 3-4 dollars.

The quality is what you would expect from a three start hotel. My room was well cleaned and had two single beds and a small TV plus safety locker. The breakfast is basic breakfast with scrambled egg and toast plus some marmalade with an option for Asian breakfast. Neither fantastic nor bad.

If you are looking for a hotel as a base to either do some work or to just sleep in this is a good alternative. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are friendly and kind and provide good and attentive service. My main reason for putting the score at average is because I borrowed an umbrella from the hotel. Due to wear and tear the umbrella broke. I was charged ten dollars for the umbrella. I told the hotel they should not charge for these things, for example, if I sleep in their bed and the bed breaks down would they charge me for the bed in that case? This incident left me with a bad feeling and I hope that for next time an umbrella is broken they will handle it better.

So, all in all a good place to stay at if you are on business and just need a place to sleep.

On my 4th business trip to Myanmar, i decided to book into KH Hotel as Inya Lake was getting to be a bit too tired, literally and figuratively. This KH hotel was only opened 1 month before I checked in.

For the price, I cannot fault it for anything really bad except for the dismal "buffet" breakfast. I can count the number of dishes with 5 fingers. To be fair, the place is still new and does not quite have the occcupancy to have a bigger spread. However, looking at the one and only restaurant cum coffeehouse cum bar on the 8th floor, they do not have the seating space to expand on that floor even if occupancy went up.

Overall, the service is acceptable going by Indochina standards. Granted, my direct comparison is with Hanoi hotels and Hanoi is considered a decade or two ahead in terms of handling English speaking foreign visitors.

Not bad for the price.

Room cleaned and new but the price quite expensive.

Free wifi internet connection on room but speed quite slow.

Breakfast at PH floor.

This hotel you have to pay on check in time can not pay on check out if you check out before can not refund money back. This bad thing I don't live becuase sometime I don't know when my job will finish and then I have no idea how many night need to stay.

I really liked this hotel, until the price kept increasing. Its one of the first hotel in Ygn i found considerably clean. Then we found a few more mid range hotels with the same cleanliness at a more reasonable price. Nevertheless this hotel is clean, wifi was not reliable, staff were no doubt helpful and friendly. Location is a bit too far from downtown.

I went here on a recommendation of a friend. He found this place quite OK. But I found it really terrible.

It is - yes a good location to the airport. But that's actually all. Rooms are clean, bedding is OK, but now the minuses:

1. very bad location to downtown and city center of Yangon

2. There is a construction side right next to the place and they currently undertake demolition works. Once obviously something heavy was falling down there and it was shaking in my room for at least 5 seconds

3. At night - I have no idea what it is ( the chiller plant or some generator ) - you hear some noise which makes it really impossible to sleap

4. Getting a taxi from there is a nightmare. The staff is going on the street, trying to catch one. Better you go down the road for 100 meter, you get it easier.

5. room service after 10 ? I don't know> I asked for some additional beer ( they have actually only 4 small cans for 3 US$ each in the fridge ) at around 10:40. The response was. Sorry sir. our restaurant is closed.

6. They cheat you on exchange rate. Officially something between 960 to 990 MMR to 1 US$ they offer you 900 !!!!

DONT STAY THERE !!! Even if the WIFI is really good.
