The Classique is in a quiet part of town, & while a little way to downtown, a) it's easy to get in & b) it's a nice quiet break from the business of that area. The room wasn't big, but was fine. Wifi was patchy, but that's not a big deal. Breakfast was good, in a nice garden setting &...

Quiet location in the northern part of the city - fairly handy for the airport, but down a rather remote side street and you could not really walk anywhere from there at night. The hotel is quite small - really more of a guesthouse. The general areas have a pleasant, traditional feel with lots of wood. There is a small...

Stayed for only a couple of nights but would certainly recommend as a good introduction to Myanmar. We had a driver so the location was not an issue - it is in a very smart residential area, quiet and leafy and fairly central - but tucked away. Well run, comfortable room (on the first floor) and we enjoyed both breakfast...

Located in the north of Yangon in the diplomatic neighbourhood but close to Schwedagon Paya, a 30 minute walk away. You'll need a taxi to go most places but they are readily available outside the front gate, and inexpensive. This is a pleasant option while staying in Yangon although the rooms are relatively small. The staff were extremely helpful and...

If you want to stay in a transformed Rangoon mansion & experience good service at a great price as well as a restful place then this is the spot. Like a large B&B close to diplomatic residences. Food is good & breakfast is great, including very good bodem coffee.

Stayed for two nights on arrival from uk. Comfortable, clean room, beds and bathroom. Quiet at night. Wonderful breakfasts. There is no restaurant so walked to place nearby. NB You'll need a car/taxi if you want to see the sites, but it's location away from the city centre is what makes it a peaceful place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here twice in December, 2015 for a total of seven nights. The rating is a combination of the two stays. The first time we stayed in a very small double room (recently renamed “Classic Room”), and the second time we were in a much larger and nicer room (recently renamed “Teak Room”). The first room...

According to some advice I had from a fried, the Classique Inn was worth the visit. But according to my direct experience it wasn't! First of all, we had reserved a deluxe room and had a normal one, instead, with great embarassment of the staff, hewho clearly did not know how to manage the situation (they let stay someone else...

I couldn't wait to stay at the Classique. It was to be one of the highlights of my trip. I had reserved a deluxe room 2 months before my departure. To my surprise when I got there they said "we have a problem, the guests that were staying in your deluxe room have decided to prolong their stay and so...
