Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

This place exceeded our expectations. True king-size bed and way more comfortable than almost all beds in Europe and other locations in Asia. Astounding breakfast. And classy, attentive staff. Amazing value.

Good hotel only £2 tuk tuk / Taxi to most places in the city. Walking up to the Pagoda was the main reason for choosing this hotel and not disappointed. Hotel has a good breakfast. For evening I chose to walk about 100m down the road for about 4-5 other restaurants and bars

Room was dirty, found cuts of fingernails on the fitted vintage carpet, which was everywhere blemished. Showerhead in the bathroom was fixed on the tube with grey adhesive tape. Bathroom not clean...No need to get offered another room, this is the style of this house. We went down asking for our registration form and after having teared up this, we escaped. Room was already payed in advance, so no need of any discussion with the receptionist either with the bell boy, who followed us in company with her trying to force the taxidriver not to leave with us. We didn‘t want to get back our money, we only wanted to leave and the receptionist together with the bellboy tried to stop us ! I adiviced the taxidriver go go go please, hurry up...he smiled and putted his foot on the floor of his Toyota. Afterwards he asked me where we wanna go at all. Don’t go there ! Waste of time an money!

We would like to recommend this lovely hotel and excellent, friendly staff. Great location. Opposite People's Park, near Shwedagon Pagoda and Bogyoke Market. From our window we could see the top of the exquisite pagoda. The hotel has good breakfasts, a lunch and evening restaurant and a nice bar - sports (soccer) on tv. The rooms are spacious and clean and the shower and toilet are roomy.

Impeccable hotel. Family feel amongst the team and I believe that the staff here is very cooperative with each other. If other hotels worked together such as this, I think they would be comparable and be able to compete with each other’s amount of hospitality. Would I come back ? Of corse

I came to this hotel for my first night in myanmar and because of all the positive reviews. After traveling for 20 hours, I was ready for a quiet night's sleep but was incredibly surprised to find a nightclub blaring heavy beats at 11 pm, as I was trying to sleep. The hotel moved me to 3 different rooms - none of which was exempt from the sound. I would caution anyone (especially with young children) about this. I wish I had known!

Met at the airport and quickly organised to arrive at the Summit Park Hotel. Most welcome shower and much needed rest to prepare for the busy days ahead and the Bagan Marathon. Excellent guides, nothing impossible for Angela to resolve or explain. Both a fountain of knowledge.

Best among the midrange hotels, very conveniently located, close to people's park and the famous shwedagon pagoda.I booked a room at this hotel after reviewing its location through their website. The hospitality of the staff was good and welcoming. The room is big, neat and well maintained, there is complimentary drinking water, dental kit, shaving kit, provided in the room. The morning breakfast menu included several food items to select from noodles to cut fruits. On request, i was provided with packed breakfast for my very early morning check out.I would strongly recommend this hotel for those looking in the midrange hotels in yangon
