Stayed here recently on a business trip. The hotel really need a facelift as age is showing especially the bathroom and the room itself. The wooden flooring in the room needs a real make over. The air con is the room is really cold no matter how high you turn the temperature to it is still cold! The bathtub level... More

The only good things about this hotel are its setting on the side of Inya Lake, the grounds, friendly helpful staff and the breakfast buffet. Its a huge quite soulless building badly in need of refurbishment inside and re-painting outside. Its a good taxi ride from anywhere in Yangon.Getting in and out of the bath/shower was up a tiled and slippery, when wet, step and definitely... I recently stayed here on a business trip. The common rooms and lobby are really impressive but the hotel rooms leave something to be desired. The high humidity levels have left the hotel with really strong moldy scents. The bathrooms could use a remodel; currently there are so many layers of caulk layered on top of each other they are... I stayed there on 5th November to celebrate my birthday with my family. Wonderful, friendly staff and such a great location. Enjoyed Sunday Brunch and the best wifi in town. Outdoor swimming pool is another access to enjoy your stay and if you have a lake facing from your room and you can have a great view of the Inya... More

We have stayed two nights at this hotel, just because it is close to the airport and our 16 day organized tour of Myanmar started in this Hotel. The grounds well maintained, but the swimming pool and tennis courts have been deserted, never seen a person around. Perhaps drinks are overpriced at US$6 per bottle... US$6 in shops. The rooms... Have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. The ground floor is opulent and spacious, the pool at the lakeside is stunning, and the breakfast is amazing. The dinner menu is good but has shot up in price. Now double a few years ago plus 15% tax .Not good sense as dining room pretty empty. Cheaper to take a... More

We choose Inye Lake as our final stay in Yangon because it was not too far from the airport. The staff were friendly and our room and balcony were spacious. The pool is clean and large although so far away from the rooms we thought it was a public pool at first. The lake itself is dirty (not the hotel's... More

Visited INYA LAKE HOTEL 2 times on 23/06/16 & 05/07/16 while holidaying in Yangon. My driver Smith [ contactable on 09-5107414 / 09-448007583 or email: smithchomay@gmail.com] recommended we take a look around the grounds & inside the hotel. The hotel staff were most welcoming to visitors and guests, the interior of the hotel looks very impressive and extremely spacious, some... More

Recently visited this hotel because one my guest was putting up there. This hotel was the first "5 star rated hotel in Yangon". The hotel is pretty old and needs constant upkeep and maintenance. The staff is up to date, though we had an issue where the room service took our order but after one hour we inquired, and he... More

I stayed there few times for week+ each time. This hotel has seen better times long long time ago. It is really very old and worn, this kills the charm it once had. Some good old decoration is still there and kind of brings you closer to Burmese culture. Once renovated it will be one of the best hotels in... More

Exploration of Yangon and the surrounding area is also a must and we would be delighted to arrange a variety of tours and excursions for you during your stay with a private guide.A 15-minute drive from the city centre, and 20 minutes from Yangon International Airport, the colonial styled hotel with its teakwood floors and oriental feel evokes charming memories of a by-gone era.
