we stayed there just for one night because we moved from the expensive white house hotel next door. we had a room without a window and shared bathroom. but for 28$ we were quite satisfied. def a budget option in Yangon since most of the hotels are overpriced. I would stay there again for 1-2 nights (not a big fan...

The smelliest hotel ever....I'm so dissapointed....Went to visit the birthplace of my deceased Grandmother and the experience at Daddy's Home scarred my spiritual journey. Myanmar is a beautiful City though. Their people are amazing. try out the traditional pork rib dumpling noodles and Murgi Thang. Its amazing

The hotel was actually quite good. this is my first time to Burma and I was told that the standard v price equation was nearing on insane, so I went with an open mind. The reception was ok with people that spoke English! The breakfast was minimal but again, ok. The location was decent (right in the centre of downtown...

Spent 5 days at Daddys Home Hotel early January 2014. Location is very good right in the downtown area of Rangoon(Yangon), about 7 minutes walk from the Strand Hotel the smartest hotel in the City. The location is the best feature of the hotel. I would echo some of the other comments, I was on the 5th floor in a...

This place is in a great location, is clean and has helpful and friendly staff, who are very willing and able to help guests. Breakfast sets you up for the day too. The hotel is in Yangon and it in this context that you have to accept it. Also relatively cheap. Don't go with an expectation of plushness, but go...

Prices are lower than elsewhere in Yangon but we still paid 30 dollars for a double that was small and smelly without bathroom. It was clean though, something that is not always guaranteed in Yangon hotels.

Rooms are concrete boxes without windows, with only beds and no space left, terrible atmosphere.... no bathroom (while the lonely planet said something else) prices are mich to high comparing the quality of the room... The one with bathroom had fungus on the walls, smelledl like the gutter combined with ammoniac, no fresh air... But while there is a lack...

What can I say! Rooms are basic. Toilets are dirty. Staff are not friendly or helpful. There are millions of mosquitos. Again, staff are not helpful or friendly. That could have been their saving grace but nope!! Sorry, wouldn't recommend it.

Everyone has to stay in Yangoon one night or two. There are simply not so many places for backpackers, yet. So prices go up and quality goes down. 10 US Dollar for a cheap shared bathroom double and don't expect much. Staff was oke.

I paid 40US for 2 person, after registering myself staff gave me the A/C remote control and 2 towels, show me my room without window, fix electricity...

Dear Guests, We are truly sorry for your bad experience during your stay at our hotel. It really was a bad time for our hotel since we were planning to close it down and that might have affected the staffs' morale and their daily work very badly. But we have moved on since and decided to continue with this business....
