Room on 8th floor, with shared bathroom. Asian and western toilets and showers. Staff helped with taking up bags from the 3rd Floor reception. Good breakfast. TV with only 2 channels Burmese and Korean, aircon leaked water, the room was very small.

like sugoutam says, taxi is the best way. there is a taxi booth outside the entrance of the airport just to the right. there you get a fixed price for 8000kyat. the ride however,can take anytime between 30 min and 1hr and 30 min depending on traffic. it is a bit crazy these days with everyone owning their own car, and motorbikes being prohibited in the city. also a return taxi sometimes cost 10.000kyat. hope this helps.

I found when in Burma its cheaper to book a room via site bookings in the larger cities..just a tip...elsewhere was fine just to rock up and see if rooms available price cheaper than booking in advance!!!
