visited Yangon in january 2017, just got back today. What a wonderful time, some high points and some low points, Whilst this is no 5 star hotel - and is in need of a lot of TLC, the staff make up for any shortcommings the hotel may have, although it should be noted that some times things are lost in...

I made booking via booking.com and I called hotel to cancel the booking before check in time however I was handelled with very rude person who doesn't know customer service. I am still shocked that this amazing hotel that I have heard of has such service which make me have more doubts. I repeated my issue to him and that...

I'm not trying to be funny, but it does. The whole hotel has different a waves of very intense smells throughout the day, none of which are pleasant. If it's not fart, it's onions or body odor or that unbearable smell of a nail salon. I don't think the hotel has been renovated since the 1970s. It's quite old and...

There really is no reason I can think of to stay here. The rooms are very run down, the bathrooms full of mold (I could literally write my name on the tiles...), the food terrible and it's not close to anything, on the contrary. Well meaning but incompetent staff. Top it up with an insane price level. One of my...

Overall, this is just a so-so hotel in terms of location, service and room quality. It is a bit off the beaten track and no real tourist attractions nearby. Service was ok. The staff at breakfast were very helpful, though this was marred somewhat by the poor breakfast selection. But the real downer was the disco in the hotel that...

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip in a suite. The hotel staff are simple, nice and friendly people. The suite was ok although the standard rooms appeared much better maintained. Wifi is complementary but the signal is weak and often erratic. The view from the suite is exotic as it overlooks the biggest Pagoda. Breakfast was...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I had a bad time. Bad. Hot water of a messy bathtub. A towel became dirty with hot water of a messy bathtub and was required 5 dollars. This did not pay. A mediocre breakfast was included for 150$/night. The hotel where I want to never stay at.

The hotel's fairly close to the centre of town, although a taxi ride away from most places (it's in Bahan Township, on the way to the airport, and about 3 km from Shwedagon Pagoda). Like many hotels in Yangon, it's rather faded and grubby, and could do with a bit of refurbishment and modernisation. The rooms are a decent size,...
