They have a very helpful and wonderful staff. It has close proximity to the airport, shopping and eating. The complimentary breakfast buffet each morning had a varied menu and was a good combination of Western and Eastern items.

This hotel was clean and well taken care of. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The view from the restaurant level is beautiful! The buffet breakfast included in your room rate is kept well stocked and has lots of variety so you can eat local flavor or you can have an "English" breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay here & was sorry to have to leave! :-)

Very close to the airport. fast check in and booked my reservation through Agoda. staff are very attentive and helpful. The room are clean and spacious. lots of power outlet if you have a number of electronics to charge. internet is also okay. however the breakfast food is less variable. for 5 days of stay, 2 sets of food is being served. Still, this hotel is recommended.

Please see my complaint letter to the hotel:

I would like to file my complaints about the service of your hotel. Actually I'm a regular customer of your hotel, I myself and my group stayed in your hotel for a few times already. However, I found that the service quality of your hotel is declining rapidly these days. When I first check-in late night on 27 Sep, together we have 3 persons and reserved 2 deluxe twins with bathtubs. However, we are being assigned 2 double bed deluxe rooms with bathtubs, we have 2 female and 1 male, that means 2 female need to be slept in one double bed which is really ridiculous. We ask for room changing but the receptionist refused to make a change and insisted that they didn't have twin room anymore. After a lot of arguments we were finally assigned a superior room with twin beds (without bathtub)!

The next morning when we try to go out for breakfast, we found that the inside lock could not be opened. We're kept inside the room for more than half an hour which was definitely a BAD experience. Our tight schedule might be ruined with such accident and such thing could not be happened in hotel service, which is really unacceptable.

The last day after we checked out and back to the hotel to take our luggage at around 7:00 p.m. We ask for one-hour booking of one room in order to have a shower before we depart. The receptionist refused to provide us room and said that all rooms were fully booked already. We negotiated with the rude lady and finally she said that one room could be offered for using one-hour but need to charge the whole day fee. I felt so angry about such response and told my local friend about that. She talked to the manager over the phone and finally came to the conclusion that we paid half-day price to have one-hour use.

I was totally disappointed about the service of your hotel and decided that I'll definitely consider to book other hotel instead of yours in my future visits. I believed that due to the competitive environment of hotel service in Yangon, I can definitely get better service in

Dear Wong, Very sorry to learn that you had terrible experience in our hotel and you’d received not even a word from hotel. We have responsibility to apologize you and make the circumstances happened or you encountered at the hotel clear to our guests, in order to avoid misunderstanding from other valuable customers of us. First, about the complaint of room & bed type, we’d already informed your local friend who made booking for you since he called us that there’re no Deluxe Twin room left for 27 Sept and only Deluxe room with double bed available for that day. Your local friend said “Yes & OK” for two Deluxe Double with bathtub. Therefore, we assigned 2 Deluxe rooms with Double bed. It’d better check with your organizer who arranged accommodation for you about the bed type before checking in., but you brought the complaint to hotel. The next morning, you’re stuck in the room. As soon as I learnt that, I myself came & met with you to apologize for the bad experience you encountered. Then, we immediately changed & upgraded room to Deluxe Twin with bathtub. And we’d promptly sent “Letter of apology” to your room. In that letter I wrote that to accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and you’d got free upgraded to Deluxe Twin with bathtub. “Stayed in Deluxe Twin and just paid for Superior room rate” But you did not mention it in your complaint letter what hotel offered you for service recovery. The third case, renting the room for F.O.C, you checked out in the morning and left your luggage at hotel, and back to hotel around 7:00 pm, then asked for one-hour booking the room to have a shower. For almost fully booked hotel, it’s quite demanding to provide the expected arrival room to you for free of charge. “Where could we find a hotel that offers the room to re-occupy or take up for free after checking out since in the morning?” Suppose you needed a room for a few hours in that evening, you’d better let manager or authorized person noted before checking out, rather than negotiating with the staff. With any business or service, sometime things can go wrong, though we believe in doing things right. One can debate over certain situation he or she experienced and one can always do better. Accept our apologies for your terrible experience at our hotel, yet we are equally encouraged by all our guests that love being here. You’re cordially invited to visit again and see & check whether the service quality of our hotel is declining rapidly or Not. We could prove you by daily occupancy rate of the hotel. There’s a saying “The proof of the pudding is in the eating” Thank you. Zaw Moe Khaing Hotel Operation Manager Royal Pavilion Hotel, Yangon.

I was attending an exhibition , just less than 10mn walk from the hotel , perfect . Hotel is small but great , excellent staff always keen to help . Rooms are quite ok for a 3* hotel , good internet connection , nothing bad to tell for the price I have paid. They have a restaurant which offer good range of Asian food. Breakfast is simple but ok . Plenty of nice restaurants around this hotel . Not far from the airport . a very good surprise for the price I have paid.

After our 8 hour trip from Bagan, we arrived Yangon at around 12MN. It was a very tiring trip and we needed a place to stay for the night. This was recommended to us by our driver (in Yangon).

Despite our very late check-in time, there was a receptionist awaiting our arrival. We were welcomed warmly and our bags were taken to our respective rooms by a hotel staff. True that we did make an online booking for the hotel rooms, but when we arrived, they were there patiently waiting for us.

The lobby in itself was average-sized. Upon entering, you will not be wowed by its interior. There are just sofas for guests to sit on. However, the rooms they offer are a different story.

The room is very spacious, and it was very elegant. The price of the room is not that pricey but it's also not cheap in our standards. The interiors had decorative mirror wall which added to the classy ambiance of the hotel. Since we were exhausted from our Bagan day tour AND the 8 hour trip of going back to Yangon (all in one day), having a spacious and elegant room was definitely something to look forward to.

The food they served in their restaurant was really delicious. My family enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. We were the only customers of the restaurant so we really felt special. The wait staff were always next to us, making sure that we were not having any problems.

There is a nearby shopping center (about a 5 minute walk) where you can buy little trinkets for souvenirs - we did take the taxi because it rained so hard we couldn't walk to the shopping center without getting drenched by the rain. The shopping center was very simple, with some commercial stores, and some food shops. The grocery store in the basement sells local treats if you feel like buying gifts for your friends and family back in your homecountry. The shopping center is not much but if there is a need for you to buy something, you might be able to find it there.

I recommend this hotel when you visit Yangon because of its spacious and elegant room interior, and the good food they serve. I, however, cannot tell you how far this hotel is from the city proper because this was our last hotel before we flew back home.
