Reasonable hotel in the middle of the CBD, rooms of good size and clean. Good selection for breakfast but staff a bit slow to replace cutlery and plates after other guests have eaten. Nice cafe area on the ground floor for meetings.

I stayed at Chez Leon for just 2 nights. I was put up in the suite which was so spacious and very cozy. The staff was really friendly, though my french was rusty they tried to assist me as best as they could. I did not like though the breakfast room and having to sit with random people at breakfast...

Behind a fairly humble exterior, Leon offers excellent, good value rooms: spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, reliable hot water, electricity, and wifi. Good location just off the boulevard. What really sets it apart, however, is the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who consistently go the extra mile to ensure guests' comfort. As a solo woman traveler new to Congo, I particularly...

I usually stay in 5 star facilities in Africa, this time I tried something different. When my taxi arrived at the hotel,I was a bit in shock, the outside was far from promising, and right on a busy street, again, unlike what I'm used when in Africa. Very soon I was put at ease,I was welcomed with a big smile, nice huge room, spotless and well AC.The breakfast...

Looks like a 2-3 star hotel but provides amenities and service closer to a 4-star property. Located centrally, just off the main commercial and Govt central thoroughfare, with access to a couple of decent restaurants as well as supermarkets and pharmacies. Rooms are well appointed and spacious with updated furnishings and good bathroom amenities including disposable razors. The room rates...

This hotel is nothing impressed me from the reception to the rooms to the restaurant. The service was timely and with courtesy. It was refreshing to meet staff who spoke English with ease. Every minute, they were helpful and wanted to know if we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that I think they need to improve is to eliminate...

I stayed there and liked the location of the hotel in the centre of the city with direct access from the hotel to most important places in Kinshasa. You can't beat the staff kindness, rooms are large and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I will surely return to this hotel next time I will be visiting Kinshasa.

Of all the hotels I have stayed in for work, I have to say that the staff here were probably the nicest. Always making sure everything was OK, offering to help, out of sincerity and concern. For that alone I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The rooms were large, though dated. The wifi worked, but was slow. The gym...

We were in Kinshasa for about a week to finally bring our adopted son home, and Leon Hotel was a great place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and well-serviced, and the breakfast had a large number of food choices that were great for U.S. palates and that of our Congolese son. The...

Chez Leon has ok rooms with ok bathrooms (shower without any wall or curtain which means you will produce big floods in the room when showering). There is a nice desk in the room which is big and convenient for working. Breakfast is a curious sampling of foods, but quite ok. Staff are very friendly and internet works ok (for...
