A truly great spot to visit. Very relaxing and secluded. Do your own thing at your own pace- no need to rush. The staff are absolutely gorgeous and so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much for them. The Cafe has an ample menu to suit all tastes. We had a lagoon view the only problem was you had to...

Very nice spotlessly clean, neat studio rooms, the lagoon view ones were nice with the view & the balcony. The reception staff were helpful & the food was fine - the island night was interesting. The main pool area okay, but I did not like the position on the lagoon. I also stayed at Hideaway Island & although the resort...

Spent several days coming in and out of Port Vila in November and stayed in the Holiday Inn, Iririki and the Melanesian as well as Poppy's. When I missed my flight out and had to stay a day later, Poppy's was my pick for the extra night. Set on a hillside that slopes down into a lagoon where outrigger canoes...

We wanted a quiet place to relax after a ghectic year. Poppy's suited the bill perfectly. We stayed in a spa bungalow on the water. Absoutely ideal. Only problem was the bathroom light tripping the circuit breaker, but it was fixed as soon as we brought it to the attention of the managers. The staff were very helpful. We had...

Writing this a little bit later than I should. Our stay was in April 2013 for 10 nights and really enjoyed it. What you need to know about this resort is that it is a small boutique resort and not a 5 Star big dollar resort. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and it had a warm...

Stayed for 7 nights in October. Very nice, quiet, small resort. 3 pools, and kayaks, canoes etc but don't stay at Poppys if you are looking for a resort with lots of activities and action. Suited us perfectly as we wanted a nice quiet relaxing holiday. Good comfortable 15 minute walk into town (up the driveway and uphill to start...

This boutique resort was very special. Facilities were spotless everywhere you looked. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. The gardens here are beautiful and are always being tended to. Highly recommend this for folks who are after a quiet holiday close to town without all the razzmatazz of larger resorts. Some reviews of this resort have commented on...

We stayed in a two roomed apartment with family, only a few steps from one of the two swimming pools. Dealing with the oppressive heat (42deg) and 100% humidity was a little tough for someone from the deep south of NZ and there was no air-con in our unit, only a ceiling fan to circulate the heat, so my wife...

We stayed at Poppys for 1 week in the school holidays, family of 5, in a 3 bedroom apartment right beside the water, it was lovely and spacious, with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, lounge and large deck. Very good maid service, she even washed our dishes each day, always felt lovely and clean. Was a very relaxing spot right on...
