Excellent staff, beautiful pools, lovely restaurants, great activities. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back again! The kids club was very convenient, and we did tours with them around the lagoon and over to a local school.

This was our fourth time staying at Warwick and after reading some reviews I was a little worried, as we had family traveling with us who had never been to Vanuatu before. But I should not have been worried. After being in Covid lockdown for two and a half years, two cyclones in March or this year the resort was beautiful. It is obvious from the amount of hard work the gardening and ground staff were doing that Warwick is back open for business and on its way back. We were welcomed by warm and friendly faces, some that we now call friends, and we loved our stay. Ginette made sure our stay was comfortable. As we were due to leave as Cyclone Lola's weather system our flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra two nights....(how unfortunate - not) Ginette answered all our questions we had and arranged the extra two night accommodation with out any hassles. Mary and all her bar staff were amazing making beautiful cocktails and according to my boys the best milkshakes ever. Breakfast was lovely with beautiful pastries and of course the best omelette made by Annie. We enjoyed a few nights at the themed buffets and a few nights at the lobby bar. (Pizza's were yummy and the Caesar salad and Club sandwich was massive. Enough to feed two really. ) We did find drinks to be a little on the pricey side but we took advantage of the happy hour at 4pm-5pm and also went to supermarket close by to buy cans of soft drink and bottles of water for fridge in our room. The day spa doesn't offer as many services as it once did but I guess this will eventually get back to normal as more staff are put on and things get back to normal. I had the best massage that I think I have ever had - unfortunately I have forgotten the name of they beautiful lady that did it, but she hadn't been there long. The pool area was amazing and the kids swam everyday. The swim up bar is wonderful to sit at at happy hour and drink a cocktail and look at the beautiful view across the lagoon. As for all the reviews and comments I have read about bad experiences - I just say you have to remember this is a country full of islands and everything has to be imported. Everyone in Vanuatu had little or no income for the whole two and half years they were in lockdown. Vanuatu had two cyclones within days of each other in March of this year and then Cyclone Lola again last week - please give these people a break! Fresh produce has been and will continue to be effected so please dont go expecting fresh tropical fruit each day. Staffing is low in some areas as after Covid a lot of people took the opportunity to go to Australia or NZ for fruit picking or other work. Almost all of them are happy, friendly and so appreciative of what they have. And remember you are on holiday and on island time - no need to rush. Maybe if you do have a frustration maybe take it up with the owners of the resort and ask them to allow more funds to be spent at the resort and for the workers wages to be improved. All in all we had a wonderful and relaxing time as did our family that had never been before to Vanuatu. One family member said they would prefer Vanuatu than Fiji as Vanuatu is more relaxed and not as busy. We will be playing our return trip soon!

We enjoyed our short break at the Warwick Vanuatu. The resort grounds are beautiful, the three pools are great, the breakfast was really good and the evening buffet was also good as was the meal at the Teppanyaki restaurant. We found the staff friendly and smiling. We did have some issues with our Lagoon view room which needed renovation and maintenance but management responded to our concerns and upgraded us to an excellent above water room. There is work still needed, and in fact being done, to improve the standard of those rooms still requiring renovation after closure during COVID and to reopen the golf course. We had to pay for wifi which only worked close to reception.

I had such a bad experience here that I booked a second earlier flight home and then still couldn't last - booking an alternative hotel for the last 2 nights on top of the price I was already paying. Main Problems * Staff ranged from pleasant to disinterested, badly trained and outright rude. If you have a concern about anything - like the fact that your room service pizza was cold and inedible, or that you arrived for your spa appointment and were told that the 'professional' couldn't do it because she was suddenly too busy??? or that you were concerned about the light fitting hanging in the shower cubicle (electrocution??) well - they kind of just looked at you like they were wondering why you were telling them - seeming genuinely confused - and there was always 'nothing they could do about it'? * You had to pay extra for internet that does not work - constantly dropping in and out. * The garden villa room was dirty and run-down. * The Spa is a ramshackle place in desperate need of a clean, remodel and skilled staff - and of course that's when your appointments are actually kept. * After reading the other reviews, I now realise that the staff must have heard the same concerns many many times but they still managed to act surprised. There's no way they don't know about the problems. They simply don't care. * I have no complaints about the pool. It was the only thing that delivered on its photos/promises and was prepared to do its job properly.

Dear 549kerried, I'm truly sorry to hear about your recent experience with us. Your feedback is essential and highlights areas that need our immediate attention. I apologize for the inconsistency in our staff's service. This is not the standard we strive for and will address it promptly. We regret the inconvenience with the internet; this will be looked into. Maintenance and cleanliness of the room and spa are of utmost importance to us, and we'll be taking necessary steps to rectify this. It's concerning that some issues might be recurring, and we assure you that they will be addressed. I'm glad you enjoyed our pool and it met your expectations. We genuinely hope for another opportunity to better your experience with us in the future. Warm regards, Warwick Le Lagon

Take note of the reviews!! There is only so much you can put down to cyclone damage. This place is so run down its should not be operating. Such a disappointing stay. HouseKeeping: for the first couple of days we did not receive fresh towels. Some days we got 1 and other days we got none. Lucky we took beach towels with us so we could have a shower. We were left with one face washer one day, try drying off 2 people with that! Some days we got a coffee mug and other time not. The same with Pool towels - hit and miss. Cleanliness of Room: See photos of our bathroom attached. The shower was full of mould and the bathroom absolutely stunk of sewerage. DISGUSTING. We had to leave the exhaust fan every time we left the room or we would gage upon opening our front door. I took Glen20 and used a whole can for the week we were there. The staff are not the issue here but what they are supplied with (lack of cleaning supplies). Maintenance: The vanity in our bathroom was falling apart (see photo). Some lights were not working (bulbs blown) and the external walkway lights worked sometimes. The smell of sewage at the end of our block was overwhelming too. Food/Drink: God where do I start....... if you love sub par RSL food or eating at Service Station then you'll love this place. Over priced Slop. We did not have one decent meal, even breakfast was terrible. There is no point telling staff - they don't care. Honestly, the Manager must have his eyes painted on because it is clear this place needs TLC and staff need training and a better attitude. The lagoon is beautiful - THAT'S IT Spend you hard earned money elsewhere. I hope head office staff for the Warwick are watching these reviews because our stay was horrible.

Dear Sorrento70, I deeply regret to hear about the numerous concerns you faced during your stay with us. It's clear that our housekeeping service was inconsistent and did not meet your expectations. The cleanliness and maintenance issues you highlighted, especially in your bathroom, are unacceptable, and I assure you that we will be investigating the root causes and taking swift corrective actions. I'm also disappointed to hear that our culinary offerings fell short of your standards. It's important to us that every guest feels valued and listened to, and I apologize if our staff gave you a different impression. While it's heartening to hear that you appreciated the beauty of our lagoon, it's evident that we need to work diligently on many fronts to elevate our overall service. We truly value your feedback and hope for an opportunity to provide a more positive experience in the future. Warm regards, Warwick Le Lagon

We went as group of 4 families with kids . The hotel was very good. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly . The breakfast buffet was good with variety of choices. Considering we had kids , kids eat free option was very helpful. Enjoyed our daily morning kayaking exploring islands . You can kayak to the erakor island which has another resort and we were able to have our morning coffee. The resort offered kayaking paddle boating and sail boats to utilise in the lagoon. The pools were kids friendly, had a bar and served some meals too. We also used the Spa the resort had. I have noted that the resort had some bad reviews. But we did not experience any such incident. The only comment may be is that they can consider improving the quality of food for dinner buffet. The resort is large and sure some rooms may have to face some maintenance issues. But none of us had any experience of it. Once I requested additional towels the staff attended to it so didn’t have any concerns on it Our rooms were serviced by the lady called Janet. We were mostly looked after by a lady called Glenda at the pool. Both were caring and attended to our concerns. Ramzy who was the manager for the resort made sure our transfers were smooth and was approachable

Customer service was terrible.....where do I start. Broken safe in room- told it would be fixed, left and still no one arrived to fix it. On numerous occasions housekeeping left us short on fresh towels and on one occasion left none! Called 3 times before they were provided and could not have a shower to ensure we made our dinner reservation on time! But most of all the endless battle with staff, manager and head chef about food- not only crappy and expensive but an ongoing battle with food orders when it came to my son who has allergies- they just didn't get the seriousness of it and the communication is non-existent. Resort is run down and defiantly not 5 star! If your charging things to your room- make sure you make time before check out to go over every line item too. If it wasn't for a few local staff- like Chris, Bernard and Glenda that are nice and accommodating and reflect the true Vanuatu culture and what its promoted as this place has nothing going for it unfortunately!

I am writing to convey my immense disappointment stemming from our recent vacation at The Warwick in Vanuatu. This reservation, made through Luxury Escapes, has culminated in an experience that falls far short of the advertised luxury and satisfaction associated with your esteemed platform. Our stay at The Warwick was marred by a plethora of issues that collectively resulted in an underwhelming and distressing holiday. I would like to provide a comprehensive account of the grievances we encountered: **Accommodation and Maintenance Shortcomings**: The state of the buildings left much to be desired. Numerous instances of lack of maintenance were evident: the toilet in my room was not securely fastened to the floor, guttering around the main buildings was corroded and deteriorating, and exposed wiring was visible in a common bathroom with tape haphazardly applied to its ends. Paint in my room was peeling, and pathways were riddled with holes. Remarkably, an entire block of rooms endured a lack of hot water during their stay, despite communication about the issue not reaching higher management. Our room had a smoke alarm ripped off the ceiling and bare wires sticking out. Please refer to the photos. We also had mould in all 3 rooms on the walls of the bathrooms. **Aged and Outdated Facilities**: The resort itself is in dire need of renovation. The overall appearance, coupled with outdated furniture in the rooms and antiquated bathrooms, reflected a state of neglect. A tap in the basin continuously dispensed hot water, causing an unnecessary mess. Moreover, the shower experience was far from satisfactory. Even tiles coming off the walls. **Poor Housekeeping**: The level of cleanliness in our room was deeply unsatisfactory. While the bed was made daily, other surfaces remained untouched. Dust and grime covered various surfaces, and the bathroom was particularly distressing, with the toilet visibly unclean throughout our stay. Even when we first got let into our rooms my daughters bed had sand in it. **Maintenance Issues**: Numerous maintenance issues plagued our experience. The light in our room malfunctioned, necessitating the removal of the bulb at night. The door sensor was broken, emitting an incessant clicking noise throughout the night, and the key malfunctioned, causing entry difficulties 4 times which we were locked out of our room. **Dining Dissatisfaction**: Our dining experiences at The Warwick were far from satisfactory. The Wild Ginger Restaurant provided mediocre food at exorbitant prices. A mistaken order led to overcharging, reflecting a lack of attention to detail. The dining options presented to us were below par and did not offer good value for the money. Notably, the Wild Ginger Asian Fusion Restaurant failed to meet expectations. The promised intimate dining experience was belied by a plastic-laminated menu reminiscent of a take-away shop. Even the teppanyaki experience offered more value elsewhere. The Buffet restaurant was even worse with limited variety and food that's suppose to be hot was cold. The buffet breakfast offered tasteless, low-quality food and undrinkable coffee. **False Advertisement**: The room amenities and features did not align with the advertised standards. The bed, promoted as a queen bed, was, in fact, a small double bed, contributing to our overall discomfort. Also states there are vending machines onsite which there isn't. My wife was hungry and went to the bar to get some crisps and was told that she had to get a taxi to the casino if she wanted anything. This was at 9pm which is a joke. The rooms have no information in regards to if there is room service or how to get in Contact and what's available. **Facility Shortages**: The resort suffered from a lack of essential amenities. Pool towels were consistently scarce, and obtaining bath towels required daily reminders. The promised "Kids Corner" was devoid of any amenities, failing to cater to its intended purpose. The Day Spa was absolutely disgusting with brown water and the rooms stinking and mould smell.

Run down, dirty, mould in bathrooms. Food below average. Advertised the Golf course serviceable but when husbands went to play they were told it has been closed and non playable since 2019. Supposed to be 5 star not at all. House keeping lapsy daisy. when asked for clean towels as none were left we were told we are busy and dont have enough. At check in we were left in reception for 2 hours as they had no room for us. The amenities and general upkeep of the resort below average.

It was so good to be back in Vanuatu after way too long a time. Even better was to be back at the Warwick Le Lagon which still sets itself above the others offering a variety of different accommodation styles to suit everyone. I loved my garden bungalow. All the familiar faces, with big smiles, are still there making of a warm welkam each time we step into the resort.
