I caught a late flight in to Nuku'alafo and had an early one out, being my first time in Tonga I went with the reviewers recommendation, Seaview Lodge. I was met at the airport by friendly Mr Hema, I recommend the airport transfer, for first timers this airport may seem like organised chaos. I was greeted to a super clean... More

Me and some colleagues chose the Seaview for a business trip and having never been in Nuku'alofa before, we were very pleased with the choice. The rooms are clean and spacious (at least upstairs, with balcony), the service staff friendly and helpful. Julia at reception was very helpful in both matters concerning tourism and work! (e.g. speedy printing of a... More

We stayed in a lovely garden view room, recently renovated with the best shower pressure I have experienced on Tongatapu, Great restaurant and customer service. Ocean views and a short walk to the Kings Church for Sunday Service, the palace and town. Complimentary wifi and continental breakfast included. A great place to stay in Nuku'alofa

Loved my stay at Seaview. Lovely guesthouse feel, renovated room and bathroom and fantastic homemade muesli and yoghurt. Lovely deck to sit out for food or drinks. The dinner food was really good and s high standard. I was impressed.

A small friendly hotel, freshly renovated ,on the waters edge,& an easy walk past the palace to town. Stayed on the way in & out of island visits in different rooms. The 3 balcony rooms at the front have a private seating space,& catch the evening sea breeze. The downstairs rooms seem a bit tighter in space.King size beds were... More

We stayed here with a group of 5 people on the way to Vava'u and arriving at Tongatapu at 9pm. It was an excellent choice! It is like a large family home with lots of character and wood carvings. The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds and ours had a balcony with ocean view. It's about 20 minutes from the... More

This is a small hotel, not many rooms, in an old house. It has the feel of a private home. It is nicely decorated. It is facing the ocean (there is a road between the hotel and the sea, but it is a quiet one), has a small garden and a nice wooden terrace where you can have a drink... More

We stayed at Seaview for one night each way between Tongatapu and Vava'u. Same room both nights on the ground floor. The rooms are very nice - quite large, very clean and quiet (although there are some chooks and roosters to help you wake up in the morning!). The lodge is across the road from the water and has a... It was my second trip to Tonga for business and second time at Seaview. The first trip was two days but I returned to Seaview because of the location and staff and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tonga. Location is on sea front just down the road from the Royal Palace and only a short stroll into town where there... More

Missed my connection coming in from Eua and I lucked in to getting a room at the Seaview Lodge. Beautiful waterfront hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the onsite dining is excellent. They are doing a very exciting reef restoration and access project that will give protected access to the inner and outer reef that...
