I always stay at this hotel whenever i am in the country. It has been maybe a year since my last visit. I suggest to my colleagues to stay here because I find that karina is very flexible and professional.

My 2nd stay at the King Solomon. Once again I walked away happy with the room, the service, the staff, their facilities, the cost, the location, and for the easy accessibility for the local people I meet. This time I had a room overlooking the water but found that the noise level at night (especially Thu, Fri & Sat) was...

Stayed overnight here after the plane was delayed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sure, nothing gets done in a hurry but that is the solomon way, you just need to relax and go with the flow. Dinner was absolutely wonderful! Another table gave us their seafood platter and it was to die for! Definately not expensive in comparison to...

We loved riding the Fenicula up and down to our room, which as spacious and clean, if not very modern or recently painted . The people at the desk were helpful and friendly. The Internet was great in our room, but not very good elsewhere in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was good if you don't mins waiting........

I return here everything,at approximately $180.00 AUD which is a very good rate, for the centre of town this is the best hotel. The traditional settings marks the atmosphere. if your feeling the long hot day the cable car will take to your room which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and basic with table chairs and a comfortable...

Kind of quirky hotel stepped up a steep ground and using steps or a mechanised travelator to get up to one's rooms. Good, substantial meals and "free" local entertainment; gym was okay, pool was superb. WIFI was indifferent. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. But, if you can get towels without asking three times, do hang on to them as...

I stayed here for 7 nights to attend a conference. The hotel room was basic and a great size. the location was excellent and while the staff were pleasant there were some issues. On arriving my room had full bins, cigarette butts and the previous guests half drunk water in the fridge and soap in the bathroom. The shower head...

Booked the King Solomon hotel for one night due to airline schedules heading back to Brisbane. When we finally got into our room, it appeared that the housekeeping staff had either not thoroughly cleaned the room or just didn't see some of the things left behind by the previous occupant. Bottle caps, empty bottle in the smelly refrigerator, toilet cleaning...

Sure, the rooms in this hotel have seen better days, and the free wifi is not terribly reliable (in fact its not perfect anywhere I've been in Honiara). But breakfast is free and the rooms are big and airy, with a full size fridge. The layout gives cool shade and great views from upper floors, the atmosphere is uniquely relaxing, and...

Well worth a visit. Best value in Honiara as price includes breakfast. The cable car is a fun novelty and views are amazing. The King Solomon is a great place to meet interesting people and its central location makes it very convenient. It also has a terrific restaurant with great quality pizzas and Thai curries. Thanks Pepe! The front desk...
