I have been staying at this hotel for a number of years. The location is central and within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The balcony is the highlight with a wonderful view of the Suriname river. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The building itself has a lot of history associated with it but is modern with...

Although the description of the hotel and its accommodation is promising ( nico spacious room on the river and garden site) we were accommodated in the smallest room on the 2nd floor facing a blind wall of the neighbor. After filing a request the next day we were located to the ground floor on the same side of the hotel...

We prefer small hotels in historic buildings -- and La Petite Maison qualifies... But, while the exterior is charming, the interior has undergone a gut job renovation, and all character has been purged. Our room, at the front, was clean and functional (stall shower) but charm-free. The front windows open on to the public balcony, so keep the curtains closed!...

We stayed two nights in this small hotel, during what appeared to be low season in Paramaribo. The room we were allocated was at the top of the hotel (no lift) and overlooking the river. Lovely views and a very spacious room. The bathroom was fine by South American standards. Some of the appliances could have done with a bit...

La petite maison is the type of charming little town hotel. Like you would look for in Amsterdam or Paris. If you manage to get a room with river view, the location is simply perfect. The staff could work a bit on their charme. The place comes not cheap though.

Very glad we chose a small scale hotel! We loved the beautiful building and excellent location The covered balcony/terrace on the first floor was ideal for afternoon and pre dinner drinks, especially on a rainy Sunday! The noise from the nightlife outside didn't bother us at all. We had to leave early (4 am) to catch our flight, and this...

Nice, clean, small room in small hotel near Zeelandia and center (10 min walking distance) Swimming pool is in another hotel, i.e. about 10 min walking distance from hotel. Some rooms in the front building has river view but more noisy due to local playing loud music in cars and street across the hotel. Breakfast is simple, tasteless coffee, not...

This small hotel, situated on the waterfront in Paramaribo centre, is an ideal base for trips in and around the Surinam capital. Rooms are spacious and clean, with good (quiet) aircon. Staff is friendly and efficiënt. Surinam is a lively country and this hotel is in the middle of it all, so city noise goes on during the night. If...

I spent there 5 days in January. People are very nice and the rooms are nice as well. It is of course not the luxury from a big chain hotel but it is very good situated in Waterkant (better than the other hotels). Breakfast is not good. You get a lot of help of people in the reception for anything...
