All the people were very nice and helped me a lot to plan my few days in asumpcion and paragway and even took me to some of the best places of the city. The hostel is also very nice and welcoming, very nice place to stay a night or a month !

Great hostel, breakfast was the best so far, cozy beds, friendly and very helpful staff. I felt the whole time very confortable. WiFi worked very well. Maybe the shower upstairs needs a little update. But all In all I can strongly recommend it. I stayed way longer than planned.

We certainly got more than we paid for. We were greeted by our friendly host Fernando who speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Other hostel guests were also respectful and quiet when we needed to get a early night. Fernando helped us out finding the bus terminal for the next leg of our journey to Argentina. There are some restaurants near...

Friendly staff that socialize with the guests and do everything within their capability to help and take care of you. Many Peace Corps volunteers use this hostel. Part of that group is loud. It is a problem especially in the dorm at night. Very many people on a relatively small space, but the management really succeeds in creating a cozy...

The Hostal Verde is a quite, very nice and clean hostel in the heart of Asuncion. Javier is one of the friendliest hostel owners I have met. He did not only share useful tipps, he also helped me organizing spare parts for my motorcycle. Very good service and a wonderful atmosphere!

This hostel is a gem among hostels. The owner, Javier, is not only one of the kindest, most welcoming men I met along my travels, but he is also an incredible hostel owner. Never once was the hostel dirty, uncomfortable or unpleasant. He will provide you with maps and information about Asuncion, tailored to your interests, which he knows because...

Great vibe and fantastic owner. Javier is what most hostels are missing. An owner manager. He is doing the place up slowly and there are good out door spaces to relax and have a BBQ. Great air con in the rooms/ quiet and not to hard to control. A good base to take it easy. He also has a huge...

Come to Paraguay, come to Asuncion and come to this hostel. He speaks very good english and is very keen of...

I have to say I am biased because I am in love with the owner, Javier, but beyond that I wouldn't stay anywhere else! He truly cares that you have a great experience in his hostel and in his country. He will listen to your crazy stories and help you navigate the streets of Asunción. One time I lost my...
