Cavalier Hotel , is a 4 star Hotel located in Hamra Street, the heart of Beirut, where travelers can enjoy a variety of shopping places, restaurants, pubs till late night and get back to a newly furnished rooms with high standards of comfort and facilities...
Right off Hamra main street, Cavalier hotel has proven to be one of the most hospitable hotels in the area. Cleanliness was to high standards, housekeeping did an extremely great job and the rooms were double-glazed, preventing the noise of Hamra street getting to your sleep. What's too bad is that they don't have a toilet phone (shattafa), they only have a bidet

We were pleasantly surprised with the great service, clean rooms, lovely friendly staff, delicious selective breakfast in this hotel. Plus the rate is very affordable. The hotel is located in the Hamra area. You are surrounded by shops, supermarkets. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. They have two lifts which adds to the service. We did not have to wait more than 2 minutes for the lifts. The manager , I don't know his name, but he is a senior, who takes care of the breakfast area. He is wonderful. Very helpful, polite and very experienced in customer service. Obviously he has been doing his job for years and years. There is a table in the entrance were another manager sits Mr Nadim, observing and contributing immensely to customers satisfaction. He is also excellent. Its apparent the whole hotel is managed very well.
We will definitely stay in this hotel during our regular trips to Beirut to visit my daughter who is studying in one of the most renowned universities - AUB- American University of Beirut.
Thank you Cavalier managers & staff for making our stay with you memorable.
Was a nice short stay we enjoyed the room, location, even for walking around was so living area "El Hamra St." my dad went back to the lovely old days, and he was really happy with that. The least lovely thing about it that people around know streets in their own knowledge and common culture, not like shown on GPS and maps Also no available maps in the hotel to help specially that there's no available WiFi around the City
We recently spent several nights at the Cavalier in Beirut. We had a 3rd-floor room, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, with a balcony (and air conditioning & wifi). Room, balcony and bathroom were kept spotlessly clean; a double window ensured quiet nights (Beirut is noisy). Breakfast is abundant with a very good offer. The staff take pride in what they do, are extremely courteous and discreet, ready to help if need arises but not pushy. The first day we were late for breakfast, but they pulled out again coffee, pastries, and more, just for us. On the last day, as our flight out of Beirut was in the middle of the night, for a bit extra they let us have the room until midnight (instead of the usual 12 noon check-out). Every evening as we walked in, we had a pleasant chat with the gentleman at the reception. The position is excellent, within easy reach of sights of interest, restaurants, shops, theatres. Booking directly via email was easy and they were very quick in replying. Highly recommended.
The hotel is located in the hear of Hamra, just off the Hamra street. All bars and restaurants are just a few minutes walk. The Delax Twin room had a balcony with two chairs, the room was spaces and clean. However, coffee/tea and toiletries were not refilled unless you asked for it. AC was a bit noisy. Wifi worked well. The breakfast was ok.
