This place was grim. The room and bathroom were far from clean - scummy basin and gritty floors. There was a small wet spot on the bedroom floor which was directly below a mini-stalactite hanging from the ceiling. Walls havn't seen paint in decades. But the air-con worked once we had asked for it to be turned on. We had...

I spent two months living here and this place made my stay. The location is fantastic, just off the Corniche and 10mins walk from Downtown, Hamra and AUB. While spartan, the rooms are large and never cold. The place is well equipped, with all the basic amenities and decent bathrooms. Bearing in mind that it is a 2 star hotel,...

We stayed at the Regis Hotel for two nights. The guy working there was really helpful, and the location is great. There`s free internet for 15 minutes and our room had AC. It was really noisy all night though. The bedsheets were clean, but the rest of the room was not. I`ve seen worse and for 40 $ for a...

I wasn't expecting much, but the Regis is a gem! I arranged an airport pick up through the hotel and was met promptly by a smiling driver who spent the short journey extolling how great Lebanon is! Hotel reception was equally friendly. Reception has answered all my email queries prior to arrival. The room was simple but more than adequate...

Been in this hotel for a week. It was $30 for double room occupancy and $25 for single (same room). Room was clean, with tv and ac unit (both quite new and with remote) There is no restaurant in the hotel, you can have some hot and soft drinks in recepcion. Couple of food stalls and restaurants are near by....

This is a good hotel for someone budget conscious - backpacker or not. It is an excellent location. The people running the hotel are very nice and friendly. You will meet people there from all over - Japan, other Arab countries, etc. Probably not too many from the USA because most of them will be steered to more expensive hotels,...
