I didn’t stay in the hotel but I tried the SPA It was a wonderful and great experiment The SPA is open every day from 8 am to 10 pm A variety of programs available including Thai Relaxing Therapy and Ayurvedic Medicine and many others I seriously recommended it for everyone

Probably the best intercontinental service you will find in the Mid East.. Cario and Amman have to catch up. Staff are great, rooms as you would expect. Phoenicia is one of those hotels that have a lot of history - it was bombed multiple times and they had to rebuilt the hotel from scratch. I first stayed in this hotel 18 years ago...it has been a great institution, colorful, fun and sometimes glamorous. To witness its present decline, partly, maybe largely, due to the poor economic situation in Lebanon, is sad. The place is becoming rather 'louche' and some of the guests somewhat sinister...the antics of fellow guests in the middle of the night...

Phoenicia hotel is one of the leading 5 star hotels in Lebanon. I was present at the hotel to have a meeting around breakfast. The buffet was very rich and the waiters were very friendly. The food tasted really good and I would definitely try it again.

Good points - buffet breakfast is AMAZING, possibly one of the best I've experienced anywhere in the world, expansive, fresh and delicious choices. - pool is really classy, and surprisingly empty considering how lovely it is.
