This was my first stop and, once I'd toured central Iran, I returned here for 2 nights before returning to the UK. During my first trip, I arrived very early and, despite the hotel having space, the receptionist would not allow me to check in early. It's at the hotel's discretion, of course, but... My room was older than time....

Stayed here at the beginning and end of a tour. The foyer and reception area are large and well kept. The restaurant was huge and we did eat here one night and it was very good food although the ambiance was lacking. The first room we had was clean but very tired and dated howver the second room had been...

4stars sign means nothing to hotel's management, they charge you for WiFi,pool,minibar..everything.The staff aren't polite or pros. The system suffers from semi-governmental management. But the easy access to Energy Sector's companies and petroleum ministry by walking is the point for business trips.

Enghelab hotel had a very welcoming reception area but not staff! Accessing is a bit of an issue in rainy seasons. Their parking doesn't have an elevator to the building. I would say these two are the only disadvantages. Its built before 1978 but has been renovated constantly. So now it has clean, acceptable rooms and a big lobby with...

I was surprised and unhappy that we had to surrender our passports to the hotel. I was put into room 729 of the Enghelab hotel. This room is terrible with cracked tiles and peeled paint on the bathroom door. The bath is in a state and needs replacing. It was difficult to have a good shower as rest is impractical...

I recently came back from a tour of Iran by G-adventure and this is our base hotel to begin and finishing hotel. I paid for another extra 2 days. It cost me US$ 85 a night. I know there are comments here saying the hotel is old etc. The thing is the hotel has been totally renovated recently and the...

Nicely located facility with reasonable access to subway system. Rooms fair size however run down. First problem is no adequate number and accessibility of power connections, i had to unplug TV to heat the water and the other plug to charge the devices was over a bed. They have decent pool for which you have to pay for but access...

Like most Iranian hotels we saw, this one had very little charm but it is more conveniently located. That is - not on the outskirts of the city. Rooms seemed clean & offered the usual range of basic amenities but this didn't include curtains which block out the morning light. Breakfast was a basic buffet without the joy of freshly...
