Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the SYiIHostel for the first 3 nights after arriving in Teheran. We got there at 3 a.m. and were greeted heartily with dates, tee and a cheerful Irani. The rooms are totally sufficiant - because we were in Teheran most of the day and in the group room and inner courtyard most of the time. And these spaces (group room/ courtyard) are so inviting and full of interesting people! The breakfast is the typicall one you get everywhere in Iran - but a bit better. The toilets and showers are on the korridors and tiny - but you won't die because of that :D if you want to change money, get voucher for your phone, have questions the staff is always there and are eager to help! Would recommend this hostel to anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Teheran!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at SYI Tehran for 5 nights this month and it was a wonderful experience. It felt like living in a small cultural center with fine local people and international travelers in one of the nicest neighborhoods of the capital, surrounded by the Artists' Park, art galleries and museums, Street Food...; an ideal location to visit and appreciate Tehran. A tourist friendly, comfortable and cosy hostel run by a team of artists who are hospitable, very friendly, and promote a progressive spirit of cultural dialogue and tolerance. I highly recommend this place and experience to anyone planning to visit beautiful Iran. No need for a credit card to book. You would be amazed by the reliability, the friendliness, and generosity of a group of inspiring Iranian men and women who speak English fluently and freely offer advice, guidance, and welcome guests to share their cultural activities as well as socializing beyond the hostel. Thank very much for everything. Merci خيلي ممنون SYI Abderrazak Ben-Hamida, Tunisia.

Really nice hostel and super friendly staff, everyone speaks good english and they are really helpful in guiding you in your first movements in Iran. The common room is absolutely lovely, with a nice fireplace and one lazy lovely cat that walks around but mainly sleeps on the couch. :) also the garden is a lovely place to chill. Recommended!!

In 2019 was my second time in Tehran. I stayed in the See You In Iran hostel in 2018 for the first time. I really loved it there. Therefore, I came back. The price is fair. The breakfast is perfect. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean. The room for breakfast and hanging out downstairs is very beautiful and cozy. The staff is very kind and helpful. Moreover, the guests in the hostel are very nice people as well. I highly recommend the See You In Iran hostel in Tehran.

Our family of four just spent 10 days at this hostel. We stayed in two rooms on the second floor of their second building (a couple minutes walk from main building). Bathroom was shared with two other rooms, but at the time of our stay in low season, the other 2 rooms were unoccupied. Rooms were quiet. Price was very reasonable. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location was great--very central, also about 15 min. walk to a metro stop, close to some good restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful (fluent in English, though I speak Farsi as well). Breakfast was basic, fresh, and good (though not varying, so we were a bit too used to it near the end). The hostel organizes some very interesting cultural tours and talks, led by informed and interesting guides/speakers (incl. staff guides). The staff are dedicated to cross-cultural exchange and encouraging tourism in Iran. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We traveled to Iran for 10 days with our three daughters. And we cannot imagine any better place we could have stayed. Our room (#10) was clean, spacious and warm. The little common space, kitchen an de bathroom were just perfect to get through the days. But the real luxury was the main common space and coffee in the other building. The girls loved to hang out there and draw, play with the cats, eat apple pie, and drink hot milk, because simply everyone was so nice and attentive with all of us. The stay at see you in Iran hostel made our entire stay a complete success. Thousand thanks to all of you and till soon!

I arrived late at night all stressed out and you guys made me feel very relaxed from the moment I got in. Spent a week or so in Tehran, which is a little bit exhausting when arriving in Iran for the first time. It’s chill because you have enough relax space at See you in Iran. The beds are clean and very comfterable and breakfast is great - your bread is so yummy omg kheili khoshmaze 😛. And just cool to see they do so much projects with creating awareness for showing the real Iran, real stories and important subjects. The book they published is great and shows many of their work and people who are involved. Also I recommend the gallery tour!!! Just a great place to experience Tehran from :):):) Thanks guys!!! ❤️

As I should stay two weeks in Teheran, I chose one of the biggest rooms, situated in the second and more quiet building. The room was nice and bright, and beautifully decorated. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Request and complaints were taken seriously. The common areas are really attractive. For sure I will stay here again when I come back.
