Planning to go ummrah for a very long time. Finally booked this holiday 8 months in advance for 2week in Nov 19 with a friend of mine as we get closer to the time they started charging me extra admin, insurances and other fees throwed in. They done all this after taking the deposit which is none refundable even then I still paid. On arrival from our 12 hour journey includding air and ground travel i manage to get to the al kisswah tower makkah hotel. As I went inside to the reception the receptionist couldn't find my details on the system so I waited around 45min. Finally he did. He just gave me a room card and floor no. Honestly no Pefesslisum at all what's so ever. We we're really tired, just wanted to put my lougages away and perform my ummrah. The minute we walk into the room I smelt something unusual, when I looked at the room it was awful, The room smelt of sewage/ cigarettes, dirty bed covers it had staines on, omg carpet was filthy and there was two of us and there gave us a big room with 5 singal beds. We thought what's going on so I went back to the reception and i explained the issue, Our converastion came to level of me begging him for another room!. The receptionist said this will be your last time to change the rooms. Im there thinking hope this room is slightly better than other room but my lord it came out worse damaged walls, damp and the wash room was a tip shower broken. I was still patient, considering I'm in a state of ihraam my tour guide was wating. We then left our belongings in the hotel and left to perform our ummrah.
I come back to hotel reception and explained the issue we had, he directly said all the room are like that and we can't change rooms. We had no choice but to find a another hotel which I had to pay triple the price as a last option. I explained the situation to my agent, Still keepted in torch with my agent to rectify few thing but never worked out. I then moved to madina for 5 nights which went pretty smooth even then minor issues but was sorted and few issues with the drivers but was again sorted. I very please to be home.
Now that I'm back i got in touch with agent explaining the situation. Iv told the agent the money iv paid for the hotel al kisswah can i get a refund as I did not stay. The advisor /agent is ducking and diving voiding to deal with it, not refunding my money back and minute I get hold of them, response I get is we are sorting it out. Not giving me an update so I don't think I will get my refund which is very disappointing.
I kindly request to stay away from this company as it not really good. They get your hopes high, when your in need they clearly not there to help. Will NOT travel with them again neither will recommend anyone.

I opted for Kiswa because it looked comfortable place and I didnt want to end u at any hotel on Ibrahim Khalil Road as these all are old constructuction without any maintenance. However, after being here for four days, I just wished I would have chosen hotels at Ibrahim K. Road rather than being at Kiswah and be at their shuttle's mercy.
The room has enough space so that one can move, but no house keeping. The furniture demands a lit bit fixing here and there. The staff at night on the reception is beyond rude. And, when its come to shuttle service its a nightmare.
If you want to reach haram on time to pray salah with jamaat please do not choose this hotel.
If you are with you family: parents and kids. Please do not choosr this hotel.
The 24 hours shuttle service is a scam. It is always late, a huge crowd gathers when it comes, everyone rush towards the bus; leaving majority people standing it leaves. Obviously not everyone can pay 20 riyal going to and from haram. People wait for 15-30 mins for fard prayers.
I just wish it had good shuttle service so that we didnt have to pay huge amount of riyals as taxi fares and wouldnt have late for fajar payers. :(

Located in old renowned area that easily to reach by taxi which usually available outside hotel. Moving to from haram and Masjide Aisha convenient by taxi in 15-20 SAR. Nice building and clean rooms with many good dining and shopping facilities at the adjacent area.
Location is bit far even from shuttle service since the bus stop is little off the route considering you have to enter through kind Abdul Aziz gate .

Nice hotel but could do with modernising the rooms more and serving breakfast. Breakfast was additional and an outside company but was very very limited and not worth it. Was easily able to eat from other places in the area. The hotel is a bit of a walk and not easy for elderly or disabled but the bus service is there daily and several times a day but also taxis are cheap if not peak season. Would stay again if in a budget again but if you can afford more closer would be better.

I went for Umrah with family in Sep 23 and preferred Al Kiswah Towers for stay at Makkah.
The hotel is located just outside the 1st Ring Road. It is located towards the Jabal Al Kabah side with approx. 15 mins walk to the Malik Fahad Gate entrance. The hotel has a cluster of 05 Towers each 30 stories high having shared grocery shop, barber shop and gift shops inside the cluster.
The Check-in process was smooth and we were given room on 25th floor. The air conditioning in the Room was satisfactory keeping in view the location of our corner room at 25th floor. However, on our request another upgraded room was provided on same floor with better air-conditioning.
Mr Othman Baxh at the reception was a pleasant personality who easily communicated in English and sorted our initial settling issues. The reception staff (Mr Othman and his shift supervisor) were very helpful with respect to our requests for late check out.
Room were quite spacious as it accommodated 05 beds. Bed linens were clean and mattresses were quite comfy. Toilet was adequate with supplies of towels, toiletries and shower with warm water.
The 2nd main reason to select this accommodation was its 24 Hours bus service towards Al-Haram which drops the pilgrims at SAPTCO Bus Terminal, beside Jabal Al-Kabah, just 05 minutes walking distance towards al-Haram.
All sorts of transports including taxies and private rides were easily available outside the hotel for movement towards Al-Haram, Masjid Ayisha , Jeddah Airport and even medinah.
It is prudent to mention here that the location and comfort wise the accommodation is cost effective and recommendable.

Hotel was good 4*. We only booked rooms. Beds were comfortable. However no kettle or kitchen equipment. No restaurants around to buy food. They have free bus to go Haram which takes 5 min drive but another 15 minutes work to Haram Masjid and the walk is uphill. Not recommended for people with kids or disabled.

This was a good hotel, generally clean with good facilities. It is around 1km from the Haram (Kaaba). There is a free bus shuttle service which runs every 10-15 minutes to & from the Haram, which drops around 600m from the Haram. Be sure to leave early from the Hotel to reach for the prayers on time. The room was clean as well as the toilet. Hotel staff was generally friendly. There are two restaurants on levels R & H, as well as prayer room at floor PR if someone needs it.

I had high hopes for my stay at Al Kiswah in Makkah, especially since the hotel is advertised as catering to international visitors, with multilingual staff and flexible services. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, despite the website's claim that the reception staff speaks multiple languages, including English, I felt that my requests were disregarded. I arrived in Makkah early due to my international flight, as many pilgrims do. The hotel's website mentioned flexible check-in times, which is usually the norm in Makkah given the nature of pilgrimage and international arrivals. However, when I arrived exhausted after a long journey, the staff failed to accommodate my early check-in request, even though my booking was clearly visible in their system. It felt particularly frustrating since my uncle, who speaks the native language, had no issue with early check-in during his stay last year.
After waiting for hours and performing pilgrimage in the meantime, I returned to the hotel only to face the same issue. Despite my clear fatigue, no effort was made to help me find a temporary room. I even had to book a separate room just to rest, which added unnecessary cost and inconvenience to my stay. When my original booking was finally honored, I had to go through the hassle of moving my belongings between rooms.
To make matters worse, I paid extra for free breakfast, which I never received. Additionally, the shuttle service to the Holy Mosque was completely unreliable. The drivers waited to fill the buses to capacity before leaving, making the service extremely slow and inefficient, despite there being multiple buses available.
Overall, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of customer service and care shown during my stay. I expected much better, especially from a hotel in Makkah that caters to pilgrims who often arrive tired and in need of a smooth and welcoming experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the service for future guests.

I lodged in this hotel together with my wife for Umrah purpose. To say the least, it was the worst hotel I ever lodged at.
1. They don't keep proper record of their guest as they always knock at our door on daily basis asking when we will be leaving?
2. The hotel is untidy as they are not cleaning it on daily basis.
3. The hotel is too busy for my liking, which compromised my privacy.
4. Worst of it all, the workers are not trained to be cautious with the guests and never respect the privacy of the guests.
I don't think I will advise anyone to be there as there is no value for money.
