Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So very disappointing and frustrating. Would never even think of staying here.

Reception is the first shock. Since Muslims will come to Mecca, this hotel has taken getting guests as granted.

Rooms are small and dirty. No towels, soaps and tissues were in bathroom. I had to search for the house keeping guys next morning and requested for necessary items. Thereafter no house keeping during my 5 nights stay! Bathroom is small and smelly. The room aircooler doesn't have a remote and they didn't provide one after persuasion. Only one light in the room which doesn't provide enough illumination.

There are always garbages in the corridor and they rarely removes those.

No restaurant and no room services. The entire building is dirty and toilets are filthy.

Need to walk 1 kilometre to reach 'Masjid al Haram'. Still in the high season they get lots of guests and groups.

The rooms are not well maintained. There are chipped doors, mildew on the walls, etc. There is no point complaining to the hotel workers because they would just ignore you since they are not the owners. As for the travel agents' representatives, they would just advise you to be patient as this is Allah's tests to his guests and you fortunately can afford to do this umrah because of staying in hotels like this. How patronizing.

The only advantage of staying here is its distance which is just a bit of distance away from Le Meridien Ajyad and the room rate is half of Le Meridien's.

All in all, you would need to just close one eye and be thankful you have somewhere to keep your luggage.

This is possibly one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in, the reception staff are the most ignorant people i have ever met, they had no intention of helping me or my pregnant wife, bedroom conditions were disgusting and filthy, opened the curtain to find a brick wall behind it, we booked this hotel through our travel agent for umrah and we were advised to was of good standard, soon as i got back to the UK i was fuming, this hotel totally ruined our trip, dont get me wrong we never spent much time in the hotel but the time we did spend their was the worst ever,AVOID AVOID AVOID

The hotel is located near to the Masjid Al Haram, Mecca. The rooms are not very comfortable, the service quality is poor. Not very clean. The lobby is average and the furnitures look old. The rooms have WiFi but the mobile network is very poor in the rooms. The restaurants environment is not very good either. Considerable if only the priority is praying in the Haram and the budget.

The room is not so clean when we checked in, with a constant uncomfortable smell coming from the toilet. This is a very basic stay for those doing the Hajj pilgrimage. I will look for another place if I were to come again.
