This is more like a 2 to 3 star hotel by Western standards. The location as quite good as it's s short walk to grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, etc. There is limited food choices for breakfast and dinner. If you are looking for a convenient location and not too fussy about the service and room standards, this a good pick

So this review is a little unconventional because we stayed here two separate nights with a checkout in between. The reviews for the Liwan are either good or bad, and I now know why. The first night we stayed here we were given a very outdated room, VERY. The carpet was BAD, and the beds were VERY shaky, the TV...

I stayed here for 2 nights and at 6 am sharp, I was awakened by the prayers from the mosque beside (or nearby). Average hotel but location is rather good as there are pharmacies and supermarkets nearby where you can get your much needed bottled water. The rooms are dated but clean and the lifts are small. The staff are...

We were travelling as a group and the travel agency booked us at this hotel. We requested to have 3 persons in a room. This hotel has small rooms and i think its crowded for 3 persons. However, i like the bathroom and the amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinner is good but drinking water is limited.

Others mention that the wifi in the rooms is poor, well that appears to have been fixed. While I was there it worked perfectly. Rooms are fine, breakfast is a bit limited in the non-Jordanian section. Eggs are only available boiled and slightly green. Turns out one mosaic (Sweifiyyeh) is right next to the hotel. But unfortunately it's always closed....

I stayed in Liwan 22-27 march as a solo vocation tip. Hotel located in understandable location, drive from hotel to downtown around 2-3 GD, so it is close by. Area is for shopping so u wont get high prices for dress and shoes. But there is nothing for souvenirs - so u have to get ready to ride ti downtown....
