The hostel is located right across the street from Hashim falafel and in the middle of Amman. Citadel and amphitheater are walking distance. The owner himself was very helpful in planning my trip in Jordan.

Found this hostel randomly and walked in for a night: perfect location, quite good rooms for the price (14 JD / twin room) with no heating and extras but had a sink in the room: unusual in Jordan for this price category. As we continued our way North to River Jordan border crossing to Israel we got some tips and...

The hotel has a really good location, the rooms are cold during the winter (we were there nov ) but the blankets they had were really warm so sleeping was not a problem. The man (sorry cant remember his name) who run the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately one of the staff (a person who is a driver...

We arrived to the hostel late, and we were greeted with warm welcomes. shower was hot, and our bed was cozy. The staff helped us figure our travel plans the next day to Wadi Rum, they found a guy that would drive us to Wadi Rum for the price that was within our budget, and he came the next day...

I stayed 2 nights at Cliff hotel after 2 weeks visiting Jordan. The staff was exceptional to arrange things for me, and way cheaper to what I had found by myself in the street. As for instance they arranged a shared taxi to visit Desert Castle for 15 JD. In the street taxi drivers where offering me a price of...

Owner quite friendly and willing to help with advice on the best way to get around to see the sights. Happily explained things like shared taxis etc. Close to many eating...

I had 3 nights at Cliff Hotel booked before I arrived in Amman. I'd recommend just taking one of the taxis from the airport (it's cheaper than the ride Cliff offers). It is a little tricky to find the entrance but the shop owners will direct you once they see the confused look and a backpack. The place is dimly...

If you plan to stay in a 5 star hotel that's a dfferent sotry. If the purpose is to know the people and the city, Cliff hotel will be the best choice. Ok so the reviews are up and down here but do not discount the welcome you get. There is a reason other travellers come here to arrange tours and see Amman with advice from the owners. They were so hospitable, and consistently went out of their way to help us arrange and complete travels with the complications of not having...

I spent two nights at the Cliff Hotel in Amman, just in front of the Hashem Rest, famous and good restaurant in Amman downtown. The owner and the other people are very friendly, happy to share stories and really expect you to feel at home. The big common room is the best place to take rest and meet very interesting...

“Room 12, where we stayed was quite hot and stuffy, especially the floor was very hot, maybe thanks to the restaurant below. But it was very close to the shared bathrooms/toilets. Try to get a different room if possible.”
