Completly overpriced. Bad location, noisy, ac not working, no hot water (was fixed after 2 complains), ceiling in bathroom brokes down, burned holes in bed linens, broken towels, breakfast is a complete bad joke... plus: wifi works well, big room. You find a lot of much better hotels and for a lower price in Amman. Never ever go to Gardens Hotel. If a taxi driver brings you there then because he gets provision and thinks you are an idiot to stay there.

Not clean and dirty. It is not suitable even to the prisoners. Don't waste your money and health in this hotel. Try to find any 1 star hotel and it will be better than this hotel 1000 time . I will attach some photos.

Arrival: Taxi driver has recommended it to me, i was so tired and wanted to sleep as soon as possible as I arrived at around midnight. Cost: from 45 to 35 JOD after bargain, online only 28 JOD. Reception: Not bad, gives an acceptable impression. However, many people were roaming around late night with loud voices. Room: the room gives an acceptable impression at the first look BUT. The door as if it doesnot exist, I was hearing everything from below and from the stairs. The bed linen was not fresh changed, that was clear. The bathroom: the water was not warm enough, rather cold, the pathroom needs renovation. TV: was not working at first, then it worked with very bad quality, hardly to see any thing. Breakfast: It was simple, fava beans (typical arabic food not for tourists, i like it), eggs, salami, no cheese, coffee is not drinkible, tee is OK but no spoons. Some cake is there. Cutlery ist abscent, only few dirty are there. Internet: Free and available only at reception, but didnt work with me. Facit: It is rather a youth houstel and not a hotel. I dont recommend it at all.…

I recently stayed for 2 nights at this hotel after being forced to go there by the sister hotel ' Jeddah Palace Hotel' because they had overbooked the hotel. I reluctanly agreed to stay here with my son as I had no where to go. This hotel is NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL as they advertise nor clean as they display in their photos. The room I stayed was dull with poor lighting, fused bedside lights, no chairs in the bedroom ( only provided when asked), leaking wash hand basin, broken toilet seat, loose and rusty towel railing, water in the bath tub did not drain away as it was not leveled (unless you push it away with your feet), room fridge dirty and dirty bed linen and unhelpful staff. In addition to all these defects, they did not even provide us with buffet breakfast although we went at about 8.30 am. When we arrived in the dinning room to have breakfast, the buffet was not laid and when i asked the staff where the breakfast was, they brought us a plate with few cucumber, slami slices, one cheese spread and a piece of jordanian bread. When i tried to use the water heater to have a cup of tea, the water was cold. When I complained to the receptionist, he said that as it was Ramadan they only have buffet dinner in the evening. I said that we only wanted slices of normal bread, jam and tea & coffee, he gave me the impresssion as if I was asking for the moon. I reminded him that whilst I was aware that it was Ramadan, it doesn't allow him not to fulfil his obligation as per the booking i.e. buffet breakfast includedc unless they warn visitors before hand that they cannot provide breakfast because of Ramadan. The receptionists and other staff pretended as if they were listening, but frankly speaking they didn't care and were only intrested in getting my money. On the otherhand I had a completely different experience with a 3 star hotel in Petra called ' AMRA PALACE HOTEL . Amra should be rated as a 4 star with lovely clean rooms, buffet breakfast and very helpful staff thus GARDENS HOTEL & JEDDAH PALACE HOTEL cannot use Ramadan as an excuse in providing a 3 star service to customers. YOU SHOULD AVOID GARDENS HOTEL & JEDDAH PALACE HOTEL AT ALL COST WHILST VISITING AMMAN.…
