Stayed at the hotel but had all meals elsewhere. My Room faced Highway 1, but did not notice traffic noise. I was satisfied with the room, although not as big as American hotel rooms. The shower was excellent with immediate hot water and good pressure. There are several elevators, I never had a long wait. Interaction with front desk staff...

The Grand Court has one, and only one, saving grace: it is within walking distance of the old city. Other than that, forget it. From the time we walked in the door, we knew we were in trouble: the lobby reeks of fried food (where that smell comes from, I have no idea, since the restaurant is two floors down)....

We stayed a week over Chrismas and had another lovely stay. This is the third time we have stayed here and keep comming back due to the facilities, staff and location. This hotel sometimes has mixed reviews. However our experience has always been very good with helpful staff. Although we are a couple we have not found any issues re...

Grand Court hotel fulfilled my expectations, I arrived early in the morning, they checked-in me immediatelly. Staff at reception helpfull, services ok, just room service menu overpriced according to israeli standarts. This hotel is the second biggest with some 440 rooms, and still the hotel is clean, well maintained. My room was bright, aprox. 20 sq.m. with table, sofa and...

Stayed here 4 nights as part of the Holyland Tour. Hotel location is good, and also a short taxi ride to city center. The hotel service is average and the hotel laundry service timing is not as they advertised (always delayed) and the laundry pricing list is very expensive. Some of the male staff on the Receptionist are not helpfull....

The thing that was most pleasing to me here was the staff. Very friendly and accommodating, and happy to meet the needs of the guests. Yes, the dining room was huge with lots of guests to tend, but even so, if we ran out of water or coffee, they were happy to get more for us and did so rather...

Hotel is 10+ minutes walk from Damascus Gate and only a short taxi ride from other points of interest. Excellent comfort and facilities but - my perennial moan - the restaurant is huge, noisy and chaotic. Food is wholesome enough but catering for 1000s means it is a bit ordinary. Stayed there 4 days as part of a package and...

I have now discovered the strange effect that Tripadvisor reviews can have on a holiday. You see, if there are tons of gripes, then your expectations are lowered so any goods bits are a bonus and actually I was dreading this hotel but found it absolutely fine. Yes, there are tour groups and we were part of one but if...

If you're staying here chances are you've had no choice. You're with a tour group. The place is dominated by them. We stayed here four days as part of a seven night lightning tour of Israel. The other three nights we stayed in a similar style of hotel. Comparing like with like I think I'm maybe being generous in describing it...

Just back from the Holy Land after nine hectic days, the first five nights of which were spent at the G rand Court. The hotel itself is very well appointed, with very good bedrooms, a wide selection of great food at breakfast and dinner and generally efficient staff. One or two small things grated, however. Why no ATM on the...
