The most clean hotel i ve been to! Quiet, in the heart of the old city! Near to all the sightseeing! Perfect for tourists! The breakfast though was a bit early and a bit poor! Not much to choose from! A bit plain! The stuff was very helpful and let us stay in the lobby after we checked out until...

Casa Nova is a nice simple place to stay when on pilgrimage. The ambience invites you to the instrospection. There is one locate very close to the Holy Sepulcre and one next to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Which is a gift because you can walk into the Holy Sepulcre many times a day and avoid the crowd...

Don’t expect a ‘hotel’ type atmosphere. This is a delightful guest house for pilgrims. Its location in the Christian quarter near the Jaffa gate is superb. You feel that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is your parish church because it is so close. Casa Nova has a smart courtyard of tables and chairs and statues, a bar, a chapel,...

Located short distance from the Jaffa gate this accommodation offers a large reception area with clean polished floors and comfortable seating. Breakfast included in the price was generous and really good. It was varied, with fresh fruit everyday and different types of bread. Dinners equally good. The Personnel was cheerful and helpful. I was impressed to see the energetic and...

We were very happy here because of the location near the Jaffa Gate. This is an Italian Franciscan organization so expect very basic but very clean rooms. Our beds were really firm and a little narrow which might not be everyone's preference but we were comfortable. There is air conditioning which we didn't use because I hate it. Depending on...

Absolutely recommended. Good location, spit and polish cleanliness, nice breakfast, willing help from reception all the time, good wifi connection. One disadvantage, just to be more credible - poll-parrott Italian ladies gabbering on the corridor even late in the evening. From pilgrims there can be a little more humbleness expected. ...but it's just a fact, not the Casa Nova's fault,...

We have been taking annually since 2010 a pilgrimage of 50 people from London, England to the Holy Land. Each year we have stayed in Casa Nova in Jerusalem for 4 days mostly on full board and we are coming back to this wonderful place again next year (2013) and again and again. It is always a great joy to...

The Casa Nova Franciscan House for Pilgrims is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for something clean, simple and comfortable with a lot of old-world charm. The architecture itself is beautiful and gives the place so much character. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and were able to answer all of my questions when I first...

“Ask for a room with a window to the internal garden for quietness. Also they do have bigger rooms for family.”

“Try to avoid rooms next to the elevator which are noisier in any hotel. Ours was 201 - nice bedroom with great bathroom too but we could hear lot of pilgrims passing by even late in the evening. Not very much distrubing but can't see a good reason why a pilgrim must tell her stories in the corridor, shouting?”
