For those who don't necessarily need the big hotel with the big lobby, facilities and the anonymous feel that comes along with it, A Little House in the Colony offers a wonderful alternative. The location is wonderful - the German Colony is one of the...More
The location can't be beat.
The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room, though not large, was well planned out, with sufficient space for luggage, for unpacking, with a desk and chair as well as a very comfortable bed, and small, though tidy private...More
A very nice place in Jerusalem, well situated in the german colony. Just 15min by walk from the old city. The room was simple but clean. And if you like to go to the movies, there is a very nice art cinema just next to...More

Should cost you about 65 shekels, which is not much, given the exchange rate. The drive itself is about 45 minutes, plus whatever amount of time to get the other passengers to their hotels.
I am guessing you can take a regular taxi, but that'd cost much more, but is more immediate.
