I had occasion to stay at the National Hotel many times over the last years for work and found the staff to be kind, trustworthy and friendly. The breakfast is exceptional and there are great restaurants near by or a rooftop restaurant. Id call this place great value for money, it is not the most modern hotel I have stayed...

The hotel is located in the Muslim part of Jerusalem, close to the Herod's Gate to the old city. Our room was ok, bathroom was fine, too. Breakfast was good, typically Palestinian, copious. The whole place was not really well-kept, carpets in the hallways fairly dirty, outside of the building dirty and in need of a paint-brush.

Had a reasonably comfortable stay considering price. Would advise future guests to bring their own bedroom slippers for a more comfortable stay. Good location. Reasonable breakfast spread. 10 mins walk to Aqsa and plenty of convenience shop around.

This is an Arabic Hotel, close to Herod and Damascus gates of Old City. The room allocated to us is spacious and clean. The bedding is comfortable. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Meals are nice and fresh. Towels are quite aged. It would be better if the hotel can provide bottle water, tea bags etc in room.

This hotel was excellent value for money, very near the old City and transport. The buffet breakfast was extremely good with hot choices and even better eggs and a selection of omelettes on request. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We just stayed one night at this hotel and it was a good choice. Located in the east side of Jerusalem it's very close to the old city as well as the bus station where you can take a bus to Bethlehem. The tram stop is right next to the bus stop and from there you can take a tram...

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour so I did not choose the hotel. Located in "east" Jerusalem or the Muslim area just a 5 minute walk to Damascus Gate. I arrived at about 5:30 am and was able to get an early check-in. Front desk staff were very helpful & friendly. The breakfast buffet on the 4th...
