Staff very nice. We were out all evening in February. 50 degrees Fahrenheit, so we were cold upon return at about 9 pm. Room very cold, no heat. Staff did then turn on the central hot water heating system for us ( helpful, but took over an hour to partly heat the room,)( who knew we had to ask in...

We just absolutly loved Jerusalem Hotel. The staff was helpful and attentive, I have rarely felt so welcomed and taken care of. Excellent food (we had breakfast and dinner) and great location if you, like us, is looking for direct access to all the sights and the old city. I fell in love with this warm and friendly hotel and...

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in East Jerusalem and close to the major sites in that area including the Damascus Gate(less than 5 minute walk), Garden of Gethsemane(across the street) and the Tomb of Shimon HaTzadik. The Hotel used to be an Ottoman Mansion(great stone, ottoman architecture with high ceilings throughout), then a govt office, then a...

We stayed here three nights. The rooms are massive - very authentic and much better than staying a modern 'box'. Bathroom was small but that was excusable considering the retrofit that had been done to make this a hotel.Staff were very helpful and the food was really good - Arabic/Palestinian choices for lunch and dinner, with massive helpings, and simple...

One of my favorite places to stay in the world. I can't believe I have never written a review for this very special hotel. All of the employees from the owners down have always been fantastic to us. We spent 5 days in this very charming, historic hotel in East Jerusalem. The hotel is very conveniently located, 5 minutes walk from the Damascus gate to the old city, and a similar distance from the very convenient tramline, which provides easy access to West Jerusalem, running up the main thoroughfare of Jaffa Street, ending at the “must see” Yad...

This hotel is very authentic with its building, design and decor. I love eating in the restaurant which is outside the building in the garden and covered in a special way. They have also different activities suitable for tourists as well as locals all around the year.
