Very friendly and cosy hotel, situated in central Jerusalem, close to all the important sites. Food is nothing special, but we didn't pay much. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help you

I stayed at the Gloria for a few days at the end of November. It is a wonderful hotel in a marvellous position just inside the Jaffa Gate in the Old City. I have stayed there many times before and always find it friendly and welcoming. The rooms are simple but pleasant. There is an excellent choice of food from...

This hotel goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. It is reasonably price, well decorated so you feel part of the old city and the rooms large enough to feel very comfortable. It is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect that, but it is exceptional for the level of hotel it is. The only thing...

The room was very nice: 1st floor, new renovated, very clean, everything you need: fridge, safe, closet, desk, 2 chairs, bathtub a.s.o. - with a spacy terrace cleaning and laundry service. The dining-room had a nice view but was shabby, although the 3rd floor and the terrace on the roof is out of order. What all the people I talked to...

The inconspicuous entrance to this hotel hides a great place to stay. I feel that the management has paid attention to previous reviews, and that money has been seriously spent to give guests a good impression. The lift still bore the plastic wrapping it came in. The room doors are opened with a swipe card which works first time, and...

The best thing about the Gloria is the location - just inside Jaffa Gate, in walking distance of all of the old city of Jerusalem. The hotel itself has potential but is very tired. It has a pleasant, characterful entrance, reception and public areas and a nice bar. Our room was fairly basic though provided everything we needed. However the...

We were recommended the hotel by our tour agency. When I looked up their site, I thought it would be an old hotel but conveniently located inside the old city. The website makes it look like an old building that had been converted to a hotel. I was expecting fixtures screwed into stone and bathroom made from prefab kits that...

Rooms are very basic but clean and have A/C (although you may need to nightly call the front desk to activate it). Those needing internet communication be advised the wifi is poor and very unreliable. Food is monotonous and heavily spiced, but outside opportunities are nearby. Excellent location in the Old City, by Jaffa Gate and Mamilla Mall; great taxi...

You CANNOT find a better location for your trip to Jerusalem. Stayed there for 9 nights with our church's pilgrimage trip. While the rooms are basic, they are immaculate and have all the necessities, including comfortable beds, air conditioning, a safe in the room, adequate bathrooms, including blow dryer, etc. We stayed in the Annex building a few steps away...

We stayed here as part of a large group and the hotel was very busy. We stayed in the annexe which seemed strange at first not staying in the main hotel, but it was fine. Breakfast and dinner was included and was very nice. The hotel is just inside Jaffa Gate and is very convenient for exploring Jerusalem, and when...
