The room was clean and well maintained. All the grounds and lobby were very nice. Breakfast was terrific and rather fun. I thought it was a good value. The staff was friendly, but because we had no problems and no demands, we didn't interact much with the staff.

Our experience was very good. Gabrielle (hope I'm spelling his name right), the fellow at reception in the evening was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The morning fellow, no so much. The breakfast was a little better than the others I have had. The parking is free which is a big plus. Other staff was friendly and courteous. All in...

Jerusalem Gardens is a secret oasis of tourism excellence in a veritable desert of mediocrity. Since it was recently renovated, all appointments, including the bed are newer, and everything is functional. You might think that its far from downtown, but you are on the lightrail line, and a walk to the central bus station. O did I mention the best...

Had a misfortune to stay for a week in a pool-facing room on the second floor. The hotel hosts events (such as bar-mitsvas) in a hall adjacent to the pool, that are accompanied by a loud music, VERY audible in the rooms till very late at night. Requests to address a problem are met with "we will tell them to...

Dear Guest, After having read your review of our hotel and seeing that you had some issues regarding excessive noise at our property, I feel that I must apologize for the inconvenience it caused. I must however make a few points in response. First and foremost in regards to your accusation that our staff members lied to you. I can...

If you plan on staying at Gardens in travel season, your expectations need to be realistic. The hotel is small and the staff is limited. Countless nights we needed something from front desk and no one around. I went with a school trip and had 60 kids traveling with me. As an adult, the bar is limited but the staff...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. I read your review and I find that I must express my regret for any lack of proper service. I recently spent 3 nights at the Jerusalem gardens hotel on a business trip. My hotel room was looking very old with a frayed carpet, chipped furniture and tiles in the bathroom that need replacing. The hotel staff are very rude especially in the breakfast room and the cleaning staff that push into the lifts and act rowdy and inconsiderate...

I have now stayed at this hotel 5 times because of the location. I had also previously only given it 2 stars from one stay because I ended up with a room that had several issues. This hotel is located a little away from attractions but is close to the Jerusalem light rail which runs through the city and can take you just about anywhere for about 6.40 NiS, so it's fairly cheap. The hotel itself is ok. Has a great breakfast offering, not typically American but Mediterranean. We loved it for the large variety. The...

I particularly liked the reception staff. They helped to answer any questions I had about the hotel, the city, and the transportation system.
