I called 2x prior to leaving from U.S., was told there would be a double bed. There was not. They put 2 beds together the next day with some sort of pad over it. There are no washcloths, only hand towels, too big for general face washing, bath. Jewish clientele there was mostly Orthodox, uncomfortable to even try to eat...

The room is equipped with the thing families need- small kitchen, very useful, big and has very good air conditioner. The breakfast served either in the garden or the dining room, kids can play outside.

Clean, affordable, great exercise, breakfast, great locale if you have a car because of its accessibility to highways. FYI- The heating is controlled by the thermostat that says that it's air conditioning (which I assume it controls as well.

The hotel is close by the tram line which traverses Jerusalem, connecting Mt Herzl (Yad Vashem) and the old city. The hotel serves buffet meals in the lower ground restaurant. The food is comprehensive and good, though when the hotel is busy the restaurant is congested. Sabbat - Friday afternoon to Saturday evening - is observed. Rooms and public decor...

My wife went away for the weekend so I was left with 3 kids. Thought it would be a good idea to go to this hotel which offers Shabbat meals as well. Rooms were large and clean for me and the 3 kids. The meals were plentiful and tasty.
