Not a very boutique hotel, since it is quite big and the décor is quite old style. It is good value for money, as the location and buffet breakfast are really good. However, service is rather poor. Any hotel who has housekeeping staff vacuuming the corridors at 8 am should be downgraded. Let guests sleep at least until 10! Room...

Dan Boutique, as has been pointed out in other reviews, is not really a "boutique" hotel. But in my 9 years of experience in Israeli hotels, it rated as one of the better experiences. In general, hotels in Israel tend to be expensive for what you get, customer service tends to be pretty poor, and most places look like they...

We choose this hotel for our three-day visit to Jerusalem primarily because of its supposed excellent location and the fact that it was boutique. It was neither. AND- they promise parking on site, which they weren´t able to live up to as we arrived on Friday afternoon (beginning of Shabbat), so we had to look for parking elsewhere... Well, it...

The advertising blurb in the hotel magazine says "located on a hilltop overlooking Mount Zion and the Old City Walls". The Dan Boutique is actually on a busy main road and although comfortable and convenient as a pied-a-terre, there is very little that's quaint about this hotel. The blurb goes on to talk about contemporary design features and "state of...

This really a little large to be called a Boutique hotel but it was pleasant. The rooms were okay and the breakfast was very good. The lobby area was welcoming and the staff was helpful. The location was good, near some very good restaurants and actually walking, a healthy walk, to the Temple Mount

We spent one night at the Dan Boutique where we were well taken care of. Our room was modest in size, spotless, with every amenity we could wish for. The big plus is the window in the room as well as the window in the bathroom opened. The bar menu was varied and tasty but actually getting service required patience....

My father and I just got back from a trip to Jerusalem where we stayed at the Dan Boutique. We spent 7 nights there and were very pleased. From check in to check out all the staff were polite, helpful and courteous. In true Israel fashion the breakfasts were outstanding, with both hot and cold dishes, a huge variety of...

The Dan Boutique is a nice hotel, nice rooms and good breakfast. As far as the location goes, one needs to walk about 20 minutes up/downhill to reach some of the main attractions of Jerusalem. Though it is not really clear why this hotel is named "boutique" (a five story hotel is not really small) it is a pleasant place...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights earlier this week. It is well situated and generally very well run. Yes, there are occasions when the staff can seem a little "off-hand", but that's quite normal in this part of the world and should never be taken personally. Room was very clean and had all the facilities I expected. Breakfast...

I found the Dan Boutique quite nice but it is a good 20 minute walk to the old city . We would take a taxi or the bus into town.
