We felt at home in the dan boutique hotel, we were 2 adults and two children. The staff were nice. The housekeeping opened a king size sofa for the children we were 4 people in room 120. We liked the breakfast and the service.

We stayed here with a group of 44 on tour for 4 nights comfortable king bed (2twins together) daily housekeeping, shampoo ,soap, conditioner etc. Blow dryer in room, safe in room, wash clothes available if ask for them. Nice bar and gathering area, breakfast and dinner buffet was good but got tired of it after couple days(missing American food lol) but all in all good stay. 20 minute walk to Old Jerusalem if you wanted to explore a little in the evenings felt safe no issues.

My room was very clean and bed comfortable. I loved the instant electric pot for hot water in the morning in my room. Food was also delicious and good variety of dishes and desserts. I especially loved the delicious hot tea that was available first thing in the morning and also when guests arrived. The location was safe for walking, we were about 20 minutes from the Western Wall and a number of people in our group walked there one night. One member of our group needed to have gluten free food and the staff was extremely helpful in accomodating her special food needs. I remember that one night even slices from a gluten free cake was brought to our table. Also want to mention the outside patio area located inbetween floors offered an unique view of the city.

+1
An old-fashioned hotel that purports to be renewed in the common spaces but in the disappointment rooms.
The first room we came to (which the place claims was "upgraded") had a parking view and not very clean, after complaining of the broken door and unclean ceramic bathroom and the dusty sofa we were moved to a spacious room with a lovely view of old Jerusalem but where there were also deficiencies at the room maintenance level such as a window that was not closed or Leak off the bath after a shower.
Relative to the price we paid for the night the place has parking and is in a relatively good location but the level of rooms was impaired in the experience.
The feel of a hostel with the name of a luxury hotel.
There is nothing to do with the boutique.

I spend 6 months a year in hotels, we are returning guests to the Dan Boutique hotel for a 100 years. We always stay in room 125. The price here is very good value for money. The cleanning of the room showed a great improovement and rooms got updated on this floor as we learned from the staff. The chefs Rasad and Simon do a high quality excellent job, the food was better here than in King David and the Inbal! The restaurant of the hotel had also got new pretty nice decoration since we were here last time. My wife and I will stay here again at our next visit to Jerusalem.

My wife and I enjoyed a week's stay at this Dan Hotel. Although smaller than many of the Dan hotels, it had an intimacy not found in the larger properties. Service was personal because the staff knew you.
Rooms were of good size and very comfortable. Shower was good and the daily cleaning service was excellent. We were out most of the day and all was in order upon our return. In addition, same day laundry and dry cleaining service was available.
This Dan hotel had a wonderful Israeli breakfast buffet. Menu had different types of food so everyone was able to find something they desired. When we decided to stay in for dinner there was a small lobby restaurant available. The food was fresh and the service was great.
The old railroad station which is now a mall is within a short walk and has about four restaurants of varying cuisine and prices.
A very pleasant change from large impersonal hotels.

Stayed here with my group during five day portion of trip in Jerusalem. I’ve been to Israel many times. This is not quite as fancy as some of the other nearby Jerusalem hotels but also much more reasonable. Very nice walk to old city, very good breakfast, clean rooms and a staff very eager to please. This could be a nice option for Jerusalem as a family or pleasure and Is an excellent option for visiting tour groups. Close to everything and first station across the street provides many great options for dinner when it is raining and the group does not want to go far. Also Just a few blocks from German colony.

If you’re looking for a fabulous location, friendly service, great food and a cozy lounge area then the Dan Boutique is the perfect place to stay. Whatever you need they seem to make it happen.
Yesterday was my husband‘s birthday and last night the waiters surprised him with a candle lit dessert and a birthday song! It was spectacular!! We also had the pleasure of meeting Judi the evening manager and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.
We’re only here for 4 nights but looking forward to coming back for a visit.

The location of the Dan Boutique is perfect for almost all activities in Jerusalem. It is located just up the street from the "old" central train station that has been turned into a gathering place with cute boutiques and crafts kiosks, open air restaurants under a canopy and free entertainment in a central core area. It also is a major stop for most bus lines traversing the city. Just beyond and further up the hill is one of the gates into the "old City."
The hotel itself has nice amenities including a full buffet breakfast (we recommend taking this as an add-on to your room). The buffet includes hot & cold cereals, eggs (either pre-made or to order omelets, meats, sauteed veggies and salads, fresh fruits and juices, breads and rolls, and pastries.
The rooms are small by American standards but efficiently laid out so one has plenty of room along with an ensuite bathroom with full bath/shower. The windows of our room overlooked the Church of All Nations next to the Garden of Gethsemane and the City of David with its tombs and archeological antiquities. The staff at the front desk is very helpful in providing you with maps and information regarding major tourist sites and transportation to get you there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the Dan chain of hotels as a medium priced alternative when visiting Israel.

In a world where parking is a premium, this free parking gem in the heart of Abu Tor, walking distance from everything great, is worth knowing about. While we were there, we walked to the First Station, German Colony, Mamilla, Mehane Yehuda with ease. Staff are very very helpful.

By train to
Jerusalem and then by taxi to the hotel
We have special refrigerator for medications only which can be asked for upon arrival
Sorry, You might have to ask Viking Tours themselves rather than here to Dan Hotels
I felt totally safe -the walk isn’t that strenuous or though there is a gentle incline on both routes to and from
Hi,
As far as I know, they onlyhave many brochures of several companies arranging various interestng tours.
I have some Websites of the Operating daily tours . You can book directly the tour you would like ( Daily tour in Jerusalem or elsewhere around the country) or private tours.
E.g, rent-a-guide,which offers Jerusalem Tours oand many others, such as "Biblical highlights of the Galilee".
Another company you will see in the HOTLE lobby brochurs is of united tours(you can find it easily in Google)
No need to book in advance. You can arrive first and then plan your trip. basically, Dan botique is situated in a walking distance from Jaffa road, where there is Memila Mall and David Castle and a Jersualmem train ( small one travelling in main locations, such as the western wall etc). Also near by is Mitham Hatahana, which has nice restaurants and bazar of different souvenirs.
Hope I helped a bit.
Enjoy your trip,
Doron
