The Inbal Jerusalem stands out for its range of praised amenities, such as the inviting pool, rejuvenating spa, and the delectable breakfast options. While some guests note the rooms can occasionally be noisy or less than immaculate, the majority find them comfortably furnished and well-appointed.
The hotel's atmosphere is consistently described as clean and tastefully decorated, albeit with some rooms on the smaller side. Guests appreciate the attentive service and find great value in their stay, with the hotel's prime location near Jerusalem's key sights being a significant draw.

Hotel's Favourite
Truly the best hotel experience in Israel. The food, the staff, the rooms- all are truly amazing and will exceed even the highest expectations.
Where to begin… well with the reservations department. Yaniv and (especially) Adeeb are the best in the business. Kind, professional, and really just great people. A great start!
The managers of the hotel are spectacular people. Nurit during the day, Bracha at night. Kind, engaging, and attentive to every last detail. They make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
At the concierge desk, Majd will make sure you get reservations at the best restaurants in Jerusalem (one of them is conveniently located at the Inbal- 02- and Assaf and his crew will give you a meal you’ll never forget; pro-tip: get the Gvaot Handani wine with dinner). And if you happen to need a haircut- well obviously Majd will know where to send you.
Breakfast is an experience not to be missed. The food is incredibly delicious, only outdone by the wonderful staff including Osama, Sami, and the rest of the amazing crew. You’ll probably need to hit the gym after all that delicious food. Fortunately, Saleh is there to guide you through your workout.
In short, the Inbal is more than a luxury hotel- it’s your (or at least my) home away from home. You’ll have a great time!

Nice hotel, clean, unbelievably great breakfast buffet, facilities such as a gym that you can go to 24/7, lock box in room, etc. I would have liked a map at checkin of all that's near them and routes to follow to get to nearby sites. It may be there but I never saw it nor was it offered so I didn't think to ask. It would also be good for a quick verbal briefing to tour groups of where everything is in the hotel versus wandering around on your own till you find things (such as location of ATM or currency exchange machines, how to book a spa, closest pharmacy, etc.)
Not environmently oriented. They change sheets/towels daily versus giving you the option of saying no (I put the do not disturb on my door to stop them).
The weirdest thing....a man with a nametag showed up in the gym, sat where he could see everything, was on his phone most of the time, didn't say a word (although nodded and smiled politely on my way out), and only got up once to move a couple weights back into their slots. I noted this to the staff upstairs (it was a bit creepy) and they said he was a trainer...but I don't know how you'd know that at 6 a.m. in the morning or how you'd book a session if you wanted one.
Just down the street/very close is a former British railroad station that's been converted to restaurants and shops. Great food. A band was playing. Ask staff how to there there.

Dear LoveToTravel3102, I am happy you enjoyed the food and facilities at The Inbal. We do have a map of Jerusalem and it was an oversight that you were not offered one (probably because many people use google maps.) Nevertheless, the concierge would have certainly been happy to offer suggestions and locations. I value your comments about the gym personnel, but all who work in The Inbal are known and vetted. You are correct that an introduction and an offer of assistance would have been most welcomed and your comment is duly noted and will be transferred. The sheets are changed regularly to please many of our guests, but you can request your preferences upon arrival. Thank you for taking the time to write an honest and informative evaluation. Best regards, Yael Zins Revah Manager of Guest Relations and Delegations

Inbal has very good rooms with safe & refrigerator. Received complementary wine bottle. Room cleaning service missed providing enough towels and soaps several days. Immediately sent up with a call to customer service. Huge delicious, varied buffet breakfast with cooked to order eggs.
Shower had no shelf for soap & shampoo. They had to lie on floor and thus difficult to pick up. First, an attendant came up with a soap dish. I showed and explained to him what the problem was. When we came back after dinner there was a large soap dispenser attached to the wall. There was no liquid soap in it. I then made my own contraption hanging a plastic bag with a small leak hole in the bottom in which to keep the shampoo/conditioner/soap. See pictures. Also, we had a reservation in the 02 Restaurant. Hostess would only seat us at table right by traffic from the entrance door when other tables were available. Went to concierge to explain and he came with restaurant manager to seat us at a more private location. Also, comped us desserts. All services by the concierges were excellent from directions, restaurant choices and readily available [and necessary] umbrellas.

We always try to avoid staying at local hotels in Israel specially big hotels with a lot of rooms,we avoid staying at local hotels.
A lot of reasons, the first one is the price, we paid 700USD for a couple of nights wishing to take a break from life.
So we arrive on thursday at 15PM no parking at the facility (completly full) we got a very beautiful renewed room facing some part of the old city with a large balcony.
What we didnt count was the noise that all others guest will make, lots of religeous families with small children running and screaming everywere all day long, breakfast was like a war zone, all the rules regarding Covid 19 were only a recomendation. At least were 500 people eating breakfast togheter, no masks in the dinning room, the food wasnt fresh because of the kosher regulations, everything was pre-cooked even the coffee..the salads felt like from yesteday and if you missed something in breakfast and you have a granted access to the bussiness lounge then you will get the leftover from breakfast there...
The Pool was amazing.
I strongly recommend that if you wish to spend 700USD for a weekend just go to a small boutique hotel.

We stayed two nights at the Inbal and we found the room to be small and dated and the bathroom even smaller, with no place to hang both the large towels and the bath robes. A positive note for the pleasant Ahava products (soaps, moisturizers, shampoos). Although we had a "Standard Old City Room" there was hardly any view of the Old City. There was only one bottle of water available for two people which, strangely, was not replaced on the following day.The hotel is relatively close to the Damascus Gate and a great number of large tour groups seem to come in and out. The breakfast area was quite dark, with no character and outdated furniture, very much resembling a boarding school dining hall. Both days we came down for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and both times the place was full already with very long lines waiting for the poor guy who was trying his best to prepare omelettes to order. We found it strange that nobody in the management thought it would helpful to add one or two more "omelette preparing stations" to relive the crowd. The buffet options were quite limited when compared with other similarly priced hotels, while the attending staff seemed not particularly interested or helpful. We found the front desk people to be pleasant and helpful but we are unlikely to stay at the Inbal again, should we return to Jerusalem.

Dear worldnomad_01, Thank you for responding and addressing some concerns about The Inbal. I am glad the service and reception were a positive experience. We are currently refurbishing many of the Standard rooms and anticipate construction to be completed before to long. If a replenishment of water, amenities, etc. is requested, our staff is more than happy to comply. I apologize if the bottles of water were not replaced and provided. As far as the breakfast buffet is concerned, I realize that tastes and preferences are very individual, but I must say that many have lauded our morning buffet as one of the best in Jerusalem. Perhaps the particular time mentioned was an anomaly, in that many guests descended at approximately the same time period. I apologize for all the mishaps you encountered. I look forward to hosting you again in the future! Best regards, Yael Zins Revah Manager of Guest Relations and Delegations

A beautiful hotel in Jerusalem by the Old City. They have great reviews but our experience started off on the wrong foot. We asked for a double room and got a king so they moved us to another room which had not been cleaned. We went down to dinner so they could clean the room and the only thing they did was put a piece of chocolate on the sheets and gave us towels. The soda bottles and dirty glasses were still there, the used soap on the dish was still there, the tub was not cleaned or the room vacuumed, and the sheets were not changed just propped up to make it look like they were. The manager was very apologetic but couldn’t give us another room unless it was on a floor that they were remodeling - the floor beneath which she said would be noisy in the morning and all day. The room itself was a moderate size as a small bathroom with a tub. They did not offer to upgrade the room but did give us entrance to the executive lounge for that night until they finished cleaning the room. Buffet Dinner at the hotel was very good with lots of fresh hot and cold choices. Breakfast is fantastic with so many choices. Restaurant staff is not very friendly. Spa services were decent, gym area is sufficient. Had no problems with WIFI service. I still give it a 4 as it was a very nice stay with a great location.

Dear Ukienomad, I am glad you enjoyed the location of the hotel and the food at the various restaurants at The Inbal. I am not certain why there was a misunderstanding in the room reservation and will certainly research why the problem occurred and why housekeeping did not oversee the room clean up properly. We pride ourselves on first rate service and cleanliness. Thank you for the constructive criticism and comments. Best regards, Yael Zins Revah Manager of Guest Relations and Delegations

The amenities in the room are fine, but if you stay more than one night, nothing except the shampoo is replaced. They will give you anything you request, but after several nights you feel like you’re asking for the moon.
The Shabbat dinner is $95 (US dollars) per person, which was insane. We asked the concierge for other options, but they could only provide a few menus. We ran into someone else in the lobby who had tried several restaurants recommended by the concierge but they were all closed. He was super hangry. Rather than risk the same happening to us (after being treated very rudely in the market earlier in the day) we ordered pizza for delivery.
We ate at each of the 2 other restaurants. They were not great. The steak at the fancier restaurant (O2?) was decent. The breakfast buffet is a typical good buffet. Cereals, omlettes, cheeses, pastries. Also dried fruit and canned fruits. Unfortunately, breakfast is not open until 6:30. Most other hotels start breakfast at six to accommodate the early tours.
We had an early tour one day and requested a breakfast box. We arrived downstairs 15 minutes before our tour. It took about 10 minutes to figure out hat they forgot, and another 7 minutes for them to get some boxes so we could take some items from the buffet. By that time our bus had arrived and we were out of luck. Overall, the staff was nice but not overly motivated or competent.
The rooms are fine. Very average. We had a slightly larger room for our 3 beds and it was fine. As is typical, the bathroom mirror lighting is poor. And I will never understand the half-door on the shower.
One really good thing: we were there 4 nights and heard minimal noise at night.

Dear Kadels_s, Thank you for your extensive review. I am glad you enjoyed the amenities in the room. We are always happy to provide more amenities for guests who need them. As far as Shabbat dinner is concerned, there are limited options for kosher Shabbat meals and they are almost only available in hotels. All the hotels on the level of The Inbal charge relatively the same, if not more. I'm happy tou enjoyed our breakfast buffet as well and the 02 restaurant that has been lauded by many culinary magazines. I apologize with respect to the delay in the boxed breakfasts. I'm happy you found the triple room comfortable. You might enjoy staying in the renew rooms that we are working on as we speak or in the newly built rooms, during your next stay. The bathrooms there are more light. Looking forward to welcoming you back soon, Best regards, Yael Zins Revah Manager of Guest Relations and Delegations

We stayed here as part of a large group. We were tired when we arrived during Shabbat, and we did not get our room until 9:30PM. The staff was apologetic and gave us a bottle of wine, but what we really wanted was our room on time.
Speaking of wine, service in the bar was terrible. One night it took 40 minutes to get a simple round of drinks. The hotel seems very understaffed. They also did not seem to have a clear policy on wine in the buffet. The night we brought our bottle down, the staff could not have been more gracious opening the bottle and giving us glasses. Another night someone refused to help us.
Dinner and breakfast buffets were very good, both in terms of quantity and quality.
The hotel is in the process of updating the rooms. Our room looked nothing like the picture, but it was quite nice and clean. Elevators are quick and large.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but some annoying service issues keep the hotel from getting a 5 from me.

We are currently staying in the hotel.
We have 2 rooms ib the 7th floor. The rooms are nice. Clean (more or less. We had to ask for a clean blanket and the original had stains on it). Unlike what they advertised, there are no masks or alcojel in the rooms.
Unfortunately, it seems that the hotel is under-staffed and didn't prepare itself adequately for post-covid19.
We didn't get our rooms on time (only at 16:10 instead of 15:00 according to the hotel policy).
There was a fire alarm at 5AM that woke us up, and it went on for a minute or so (happens), forgiven.
Today we were out between 10 to 14:30 at the pool and wanted to take a shower and rest, but housekeeping is under-staffed and no one cleaned the rooms until 16!!
We sat in the lobby doing nothing. SHAME!
If you can't get enough staff, don't be greedy. Don't book more rooms than you can handle. It makes bad service and unhappy customers.
There are a few more issues that I think is related to covid19 limitations and I don't hold it against the hotel.
But being unable to meet your own standards and policies is very disturbing and disappointing.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for four nights. The hotel is staffed by a caring and charming staff who keep the hotel spotlessly clean and who answer any query with a smile. The room was extremely comfortable the bathroom fully equipped the meals beautifully laid out aswell as being very tasty. We ate in the lobby and in the restaurant both places run by efficient and very friendly staff... The meals in both places were very tasty. Thank you Inbal Hotel

So sorry, I don’t know as I went with my Church group and we paid as a group before leaving London.
I do not believe so but ypou should email the hotel to confirm
When we were there last, the general amount was $100
I would expect that the hotel would offer the service at a price. However, to answer your question, there is a shop on the same road as the Inbal hotel, Jabotinsky Street, which provides this service. It is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel on the same side of the road as the Inbal up the hill.
