While the location is great (few minutes walking from many landmarks including the old city) and the building is amazing with historic and impressive structure with small gardens that makes you feel for a second like you are in different place and era, the hotel itself (rooms, food etc) is mediocre. The rooms are outdated with furniture like from the...

We spent three wonderful nights at the YMCA in Jerusalem. The moment we arrived at the check in desk a receptionist named Jasmin helped us in every way! She sent a bell hop to our rental car to accompany us to the underground parking, carry our luggage to our room and explain the systems. The young man brougt us an...

I booked this out of convenience as my tour would depart from this hotel and given that price was relatively cheap for Jerusalem standards, I did not think twice about booking it. It would never cross my mind to book a YMCA as I used to associate it with youth hostels. However I think it turned out great at the...

The buffet breakfast at this hotel in the center of Jerusalem is rich and genuine. No flattering tourist tastes, the real genuine oriental goodies, like Shakshouka and Egyptian Foul, with local cheeses, salads and pastry. Pleasant surroundings and very kind service. Good value for the price.

A 6 minute walk to the entrance of Old Jerusalem, a 15 minute walk to the outdoor market. The hotel is across the street from one of the Dan hotels. There is a car rental agency 2 minute walk. Breakfasts are tasty. There is a pool in the basement but I did not use it. There is also a computer...

My wife and myself stayed two days at the hotel, and we have only good words to say about the place. The public spaces are magnificent, truly stunning; the room (a double) was neat and cosy, the breakfast is truly wonderful, the best we had in Israel (in fact it's on a par with the one we had in Mitzpe...

The YMCA Three Arches hotel did a splendid job decorating for Christmas. On Christmas Eve they had a concert. The bells would play Christmas music as you walked by during the season. Pauline in the Cafe put a smile on our face. She is a lovely young lady that is extremely good at her job. For 55NIS/$14.25 you can enjoy...

The Three Arches YMCA in Jerusalem is worth visiting for its architecture and own history. The rooms are adequate and the restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner is better than I expected with good food nicely presented.

If central location is of importance, than that's the place to be.(just opposite the King David Hotel-5star hotel). The building is an historic impressive and interesting site. Insist on the refurbished rooms are refurbished. cosmetics and towels are ok. service is friendly and the breakfast buffet is sufficient in variety of European/Israeli-Mediterranean selection. The external facade of the hotel bears intricate sculptures and inscriptions in English, Arabic and Hebrew reflecting the YMCA's historical role as a meeting place and a spiritual haven in this intense and ancient city. The beautiful gardens and lawns, graceful shade trees, and stone pathways around the hotel are open for our guests' strolling pleasure. The hotel's public areas feature high-ceiling halls and walls often lined with colorful modern works of Israeli and Palestinian artists. The elegant Archibald C. Harte Restaurant restaurant serves culinary delights to our guests, with its garden terrace a delightful oasis in the midst of the city on sunny days and mild evenings. That same sense of tranquility pervades the hotel's rooms and suites, where guests may relax and gather their strength for days of sightseeing or meetings in bustling Jerusalem. The ancient Jaffa Gate, main entrance to the fascinating walled Old City, is just a few minutes' walk away, as are shops, vibrant cafes and restaurants as well as the cultural attractions and night life of the modern metropolis.
