We stayed at the guest house for two nights early January 2013, at a family room (5 beds) The room is decent, spacious and brightly lit by two large windows. It not carpeted, and only part of the floor is heated. Getting out of bed at night barefoot was COLD. The bathroom could use a facelift - water pressure is...

We stayed here for 6 days and on our next trip we will stay longer. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to great restaurants, the Kotel inside the Old City and walking distance to other locations outside the Old City. We didn't need a car. Inside the beautiful gated courtyard is a peaceful retreat away from the frenzy of the...

Just inside the Joppa gate, the Christ Church Guest House provides a peaceful haven in the Old City. The rooms are clean, but not modern. However, the value for the location and quality is outstanding. Many of the staff here are volunteers from around the world who want to live in Jerusalem for a time. The mission of Christ Church,...

This place is ok, but I really couldn't get enthusiastic about it. The staff were efficient but a bit cold and un-communicative. Unlike other nearby places (like the Lutheran Guest House, which I really rate), it wasn't an oasis of tranquility: it was actually fairly noisy. The decor in our room was ok, but a bit dated. Overall, I would...

The convenience of the Christ Church is obvious ... and for the price it's not clear to us why one would not take advantage of the optimal, Old City location. In addition, Christ Church offers a substantial, traditional Israeli/Arab breakfast, and a calm, quiet courtyard with plenty of room to relax, pray, chat, read, when the day has been hectic....

CCGH was a highlight in our recent holiday to Israel. It is in a superb location just inside the old city walls, at the very popular Jaffa Gate. It is a lovely although slightly quirky guesthouse set-up, with a wonderful and enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers. There are so many folks wearing “staff” tee-shirts…that you never know who is...

This guest house was a place of peace inside the "Old City" of Jerusalem. It is only 100 meters form the Jaffa Gate which is sort of the central hub if you want to do anything in old Jerusalem. It is very clean and have reasonable rates and excellent food. It has the most beautiful courtyard where you can revive...

I had the pleasure of staying at Christ Church Guest House for 10 days! Our stay was pleasant in every way. Each morning we had breakfast in the beautiful courtyard, under the beautiful arbor laden with vines, greenery and flowers. We sometimes had coffee there in the afternoon and relaxed in the evening while chatting with travelers from the four...

Beautiful courtyard and delicious coffee shop! This place was warm and friendly. The old city of Jerusalem can be quite overwhelming at times, with so many sights and sounds and smells, and this guesthouse provides a peaceful place to come home to. Great access to Internet, good food, very clean, and kind staff members. The location also has an interesting...
